Genuinely sad to see Lafferty get the boot since he’s a local boy but man has he been bad so far. You hate to see it.

For the vets, 2 weeks of prep for playing 5-10+ years is less of a rust issue than it is for a kid that needs those reps to work on their game when they're still developing. He's been bad, but there's a f***ing fat piece of context for why.

Ya, CDS gets the nod. I think the team played a bit more aware with him in goal and he has some confidence.

Not more aware with him, it's more or less out of guilt they snapped out of it. They were playing like absolute shit in front of Jarry, when Jarry got pulled it was like a switch went off, like oh shit we just f***ed over our mate. Jarry was struggling but the way they hung him out to dry was like he owed them all money.

Or people overrated how deep this division is because of past performance and didn’t actually look at the rosters and the fact only two teams have established goaltenders and one of those teams basically let half of its top four defense walk.

Wouldn't mind seeing DeSmith get consecutive games, but I don't think Jarry should sit for too much. He's gotta have a chance to erase 3 goals on 6 shots in around 10 minutes constantly being on his mind as his last performance.

I joined the Pittsburgh Penguins official forum (that could be found on their website) way back in 2004. Shawn Lesky was a poster there and he was super full of himself. He basically became a joke way back then. Here's a thread of made up Lesky facts: Random Facts about Shawn Lesky

IIRC, by 2005, which is the timestamp on the thread @Randy Butternubs linked, Lesky had become a Pens board meme but didn't post much. I remember him being more active a few years earlier.
