Especially when its not directed to the person who comitted the crime. I am located in europe, not north america, I have never been to Dubois or even the USA, though I am aware of the town DuBois now since every 3rd post I make someone refers to the guy who once lived in that town

I am going to share how and why I stopped behaving like a baby though. We have a sport here called floorball. When I was 15, we played a game and won 11-5, and I had 6 goals, 4 assists, 4 x 2 minute minor penalties, a 10 minute misconduct, + 5 minute major for unsportsmanlike conduct + and got suspended the next game.

The next game was against the league leaders, we lost that game 6-5 and lost the league title on goal difference. We both had +67, but the other team had scored 1 more goal and conceded one less. My father made me keep the standings, to remind me. I won the scoring title by a landslide to no avail.

When I got the phone call from our coach that we lost the league and cried like a baby, my father sat down next to me and said: "Remember that game where you abused officials and behaved like a baby"? "Thats where you lost the title"

That was the turning point for me, I hated losing so much that I quit the nonsense!

Its a screen printed jersey actually, not a hoody. It was definitely not Hedberg, it was slightly before his time. It could be Barrasso, but I think its just a generic goaltender, I think I have seen other teams have the same jersey. I was so happy when I bought it, lol. And a t-shirt not in the picture. There was barely nothing available here. If someone had given me an authentic Jagr or Lemieux jersey I would have died of joy.

I learned english while reading the Pittsburgh Postgazette the summer Jagr was going to be traded, first it was hard to follow, but it gradually got better. I am thankful to Dejan for that, lol.

Can someone explain why Malkin stopped playing briefly after missing his chance in OT? He slashed the boards instead of playing on. Thats unacceptable, he is not 10 years old. I hope Sullivan or his teammates gave him a sound spanking and he does not do it again.

He’s not committed to playing winning hockey. To defend this actions his fans make terrible jokes to deflect blame.

This is a good example why you don’t keep an east/west superstar after the age of 30. Especially one with his lapses and immature quirks.

Great. I have a friend in canada who sent a me picture of them playing dek hockey during this christmas and it looked so fun, in a proper rink with boards even, thats super cool. We just played in the streets and of course played games and proper practice in inside stadiums. I am jealous about how many rinks there seem to be in the USA & Canada.

I am not aware of exactly the entire history of Shawn and the Penguins fans. But I do thinks its distracting for the boards to have it happen on a regular basis. And also I figure people think I am an idiot when they assume I am Shawn, so thats not great either. I am also an idiot in many ways, but still not Shawn though, so I would like to be my own idiot!

So I would be more than happy to switch for the reasons above. Thank you!

Dubois... Ha... know it well. Been to Palumbo's (big to do in the area) markets and such.. Lived there for school for a couple of years. One of those beat down run of the mill towns with one main highway commercial stretch plus downtown main st. that Bears take strolls in.

Would you mind telling me the story of Shawn Lesky? I mean, the full story. I am honestly not aware of exactly why he is famous, expect for apparantly thrashing his apartment. But there must be more to it since almost every Pens fans knows about him. When people linked me to the article about the trashed apartment a year or so ago, I had never read it before. And I am genuinly curious about how Shawn has become such a big name in the Penguins community? Is other fanbases aware of him as well? What is he up to now?

Considering I started learning english when I was like 13, I assume Shawn could not have been the most literate individual, otherwise people would not have mistaken us, the language would have given that away.

I joined the Pittsburgh Penguins official forum (that could be found on their website) way back in 2004. Shawn Lesky was a poster there and he was super full of himself. He basically became a joke way back then. Here's a thread of made up Lesky facts: Random Facts about Shawn Lesky

@Mario_is_BACK!! and @Dennis Reynolds were posters there too. I'm sure they've got some stories. I'm also sure that other posters here at HFB were posters there too. Doing a little bit of searching...
