Is 170 enough? Because that's how many games the Rangers have had an offense near the top of the league for.
AV's system is hard to prepare for in an 82 game regular season and creates shooting percentages that are unsustainable in the playoffs, especially when your top end forwards are worse than most of the Conference's.

Fowler to Rangers :sarcasm:

Another rental? That went well with Yandle..... We have Clendening Who leads the league in CF% so far this season as a healthy scratch. As long as AV dont understand how dumb that is, we shouldnt trade for a defensemen.

Why don't they just keep giving Skjei more experience and ice time as the season progresses?

He looked good in the playoffs last year, how does he look this year?

Because we have a clown deciding defensive pairings.

Alot of people think he has been good, i dont think he has been very good. Shouldnt get more than bottom pair minutes right now. But we need a RH top 4, not another LH defensemen.

Mcdonagh-Klein
Staal-Clendening
Skjei-Girardi

Im actually happy if we play with these defensemen and play Girardi on the bottom pair and go after Shattenkirk next summer. Problem is AV keeps playing Holden on the top pair on his offside when he should sit and watch in the pressbox.

They also had Letang. There are quite many bluelines I'd take over Rangers for playoffs.
Pens also had Crosby, Malkin and Kessell.

I wouldn't use Pittsburgh as an example for Rangers.

And the Rangers have McDonagh who has started the season very well.

I'm not directly comparing our team to Pittsburgh, but their defense wasn't the most talented, and they still won the Cup because they had a system where they players played well in, they had a lot of offensive talent, and they got good goaltending.

Can Buchnevich play center?

If he can a package around Tanev and Buchnevich might work. You got a top 4 D, and one that can play with McDonagh

He can play any forward position, but not available for trade, unless it was a top player in the league or top young player in the league.
