Kreid or Die
Yep, and I have maintained that I think next year we will be even better.
TSN just said MSL will play with Richards and Hagelin should he make it...he should.
That line is gona be stupid fast

1. Can you prove that the team is somehow going to collapse when MSL leaves?
2. What makes you think a few extra mid-first and 2nd round picks was going to make all the difference between a successful and unsuccessful future?
Adding MSl for this helps our chances marginally in the short run, and hurts us marginally int he long run. The impact isn't nearly as extreme as your hyperbolic assertions.

This. So much this.1. Of course you can't prove it.
2. The assumption is that our current prospects will not pan out, but the players we would have drafted with the picks WOULD pan out.
It's Hockey's Future. While I understand that "Win now, at all costs!" is not a healthy mentality when it comes to running a franchise, HF takes it the other way--do nothing now other than develop players and stockpile draft picks. I'm not surprised in the slightest that people are on the verge of suicide over the thought of giving up a first and second.
I turn 43 soon and I agree.
Or, not $36 million for six years.
Team has 3, maybe 4 years before it's a basement dweller again. those picks are huge.
Get ready for the dark ages people. AV, Nash, Richards and Sather are the four horsemen as far as I'm concerned
That helps not having a first IF he resigns.
Going all in, yet we have what exactly down the middle that matches up against the best? Who else carries the puck and provides secondary support when the top 3 guys are taken off the board? Benoit Pouliot ? Come on man....
Star players who come here on the backside of their mid 30's always continue their ways like nothing has changed right?
Duclair and Buch have proved nothing but 1 good season and you're ready to pencil them in, yet this years draft picks are 'no big deal' and 'who knows when they'll be ready if ever' ?
Contradictions help one side more than the other.
Callahan and Just picks!? No f***ing way!? Holy ******* ****! That's a bit of a stunner to me for sure did St. louis really want out that bad!?
The Rangers could also be looking to get another 2015 1st from someone ....
I feel like the draft picks by themselves could have made this trade happen. But damn giving up Callahan and the picks??? wtf??? Serious over payment.
This does nothing for this team, does not make us better.
Hagelin - Richards - St. Louis...so much for "St. Louis will blah blah Kreider".
