I was trained in the classics. You’re usually panned less for your points and more for how you make them.![]()
I really hope he requested a trade because if not, why wouldn't you do this over the summer to try and avoid buying out Shattenkirk? I highly doubt Ottawa over training camp and 2 games changed their mind and suddenly wanted Namestnikov.
‘Lit up the OHL’ might be a stretchPierre Dorion on Ebert over the summer:
"Nick's a stronger skater with a big-time shot. He is really coming into his own in Europe. Also, he's only 25 and we feel his best hockey is in front of him."
A RHD from New Jersey who lit it up in the OHL and had character concerns...where have I heard this before?
Exactly. We couldn’t scratch Haley to make room for Chytil? Namestnikov is a viable middle six forward. Nothing special, but even just one hot stretch this year and as an expiring contract at the deadline I’d assume we could do better than a 4th. Oh well.
#NextStralman25 year old right shot D who played in Sweden and the KHL the last few years. Contract swap.
...he is from Livingston NJ...
Exodia, except it's Mikey from Jersey Shore. How many young defensemen are from New Jersey? We've got Tony, Crawley, Ebert, maybe we're trying to form Exodia
This is a very good point lol. Unless Ottawa improves over the next couple years.A 4th from Ottawa is similar to a 3rd from a much better team? Without having to worry he would turn into an Anisimov? Lol.

Exodia, except it's Mikey from Jersey Shore.
Just as annoying to play against.
You might be on to something. He got released from jail recently, the timing is too good to be coincidentalExodia, except it's Mikey from Jersey Shore.

Down synStrome, horrible player. Hope they trade him to the Devils.
I wonder if they’ll bring in a 7D type.
perhaps a UFA who already knows Quinn’s system.
Like Brendan Smith?
