I’m not sure I see the point of this right now. We couldn’t just scratch Haley to bring Chytil up? Namestnikov could have been somewhat productive and got better than a 4th at the deadline I would imagine. No big loss, but not really seeing the purpose in this.

I really hope he requested a trade because if not, why wouldn't you do this over the summer to try and avoid buying out Shattenkirk? I highly doubt Ottawa over training camp and 2 games changed their mind and suddenly wanted Namestnikov.
