I like this trade short term, long term it's another potential weak asset management situation.

Klein played with Callahan and Girardi in Guelph, this is not a huge surprise to anyone who follows trade talks the last few seasons.

I hope Klein doesn't take long to adjust. I don't think he should, he will be put into the Bieksa role AV had in Vancouver. At least he will add more grit. The skill on defense will have to get by on whatever it will have left in the tank by years end.

There is no chance Stralman is better than Klein. Klein was brought in to play minutes. Trust me. The guy is a beast. Stralman will be relied on less, which is better for him, and stabilize a pairing with Moore, playing the right. Klein is hands down superior.

Del Zotto was NEVER going to get back to form here. It wasn't happening. The upside isn't there anymore for the Rangers.

Also, Nashville fans mention Klein was incredibly well liked in the lockeroom, which we definitely need more of that.

Believe me Sather probably tried to rip somebody off. However Del zotto's value has really sunk ever since teh end of the 2012 season. Then this year he has been pretty terrible so we should be thankful we got a sound defensemen on a decent cap hit for him

Yeah, with the top two pairs playing well lately (Isles game aside), no reason to shake things up until we need to. Who knows, maybe a defensive partner will improve Moore's play.
