As a Ducks fan I'd love a deal where Raks goes to NYR and we flip the assets and add a bit to get Boeser in Anaheim. NYR first plus one of our prospects and maybe a 3rd asset depending on the second piece.

Honestly I'm unsure. I'd say the obvious ones would be off the table. I'd be loathe to include a guy like Perreault but I don't think it's likely a deal breaker.

I don't think any Ducks fan is asking for too much when it comes to Rakell we know his worth and we aren't asking for the world. I'm sure Mika would like to play with Rakell again they had great chemsitry previously.

Drance of the Athletic on the radio this morning saying the Canucks have set the price on JT when it comes to the Rangers and they dont plan on re-considering and are willing to wait until the off-season to move him , if they even do.

According to Drance, NYR has to attach 1 of Schneider, K.Miller, Laffy along with a pick if they want Miller before TDL.

Drance btw is very connected when it comes to the Canucks

Zibanejad and Rakell had insane chemistry at the WC the summer before Zib truly broke out. Would love to rekindle that with a line of Kreider-Zib-Rakell. Only problem is Lafreniere just started breaking out once he was moved to a line with them. Rakell would fit well with Panarin-Strome as well but it would feel like a waste not playing him with Zib.

If you read Thomas Drance's work you will know he is a Florida Panthers homer. He hates the Canucks and tries to let everyone know that every time he writes an article of speaks on radio. He lives in Vancouver, but he is not a Canuck homer.

Laf and Schneider shouldn't go anywhere, they are the emerging core

Miller, too,
NYR should only consider moving Miller for a very unique return of comparable talent, upside, age and control, at a position of true need.
And Kings are not moving Byfield.
THAT is not a proposal. Just an informed perspective on NYR situation.

NYR can fill their needs, for this promising, but not top-Cup-contender, season, by spending less for less.
