What could go wrong?
What could go wrong?
tom wilson legit murdered our whole franhise...RIP the future
A lot of people here truly don’t understand how insane of a person James Dolan is.
This is a guy who would only let the eagles play MSG if his band could open.
What’s a gong show without an S-tier gong?Total gong show and some people are wondering if this is an opportunity for DeAngelo to get back into the lineup. Sounds about right for this place.
I would argue that the instigator rule has done significantly more damage than is often talked about.
I think I am more frustrated Gorton and even more so JD were not given more time. They are both highly respected around the league. And I felt JD was brought in as a checks and balances system to JG for this rebuild so there wasn’t one man in charge of all the decision making that is at stake. Now we are back to one man...for now.I think they will. Drury may on the surface move more aggressively, but I think we all knew that would happen eventually. Like, eventually we'd have to move some young defensemen for something else. Drury will do it. Some will say it's Dolan forcing him but I think in reality it will just be the natural progression of things.
I think Drury is of the same general philosophy as the two departed and will handle things much the same way. I wouldn't expect any crazy shit. If Drury thought he was going to be forced into crazy shit he could find a job elsewhere rather easily.
everything out there indicating the opposite. gorton and dolan didn't know about the statement until after it was released. they disagreed with it and were putting that out there. jimmy wasn't happy about that and told jd to fire gorton, jd refused, and both were gone. dolan will destroy everything that was being built. jd and gorton may have made some mistakes, but this thing was firmly headed in the right direction - and they're both level headed and thoughtful in action. the statement reeked of emotion - thats not their style. the firing them within 24 hours turning a media firestorm into a circus reeks of a temper tantrum thrown by an incompetent owner.
drury seems to be well thought of and competent. dolan better hope so. because his meddling has turned us into a laughinstock at the moment, and will certainly take some smooth operating to rebuild the organizational image. can't even imagine being one of the young players subjected to this bs. dolan saw tom wilsons stupidity and couldn't help but say hold my beer i guess. another lost decade coming, thanks dolan
Larry brought up Rick Ticchoet in his column as next coach candidate lolRight now, I think Quinn is a dead man walking.
Any idea what's actually going on here?Right now, I think Quinn is a dead man walking.
He probably knows it too, and why would he want to stick around for this shit show.Right now, I think Quinn is a dead man walking.
I took a nap and I wake up to thisWhere is @Machinehead and how do we know he isn't the one in Dolan's ear?
Right now, I think Quinn is a dead man walking.

Not really a change of direction if you promote the assistant GM and keep the coach. Hopefully Drury gets autonomy there. First test of how deep the manchild's meddling will go.Right now, I think Quinn is a dead man walking.
