DONT PLAY HIM WITH TAVARES!
It is the stupidest decision ever. Dont know wich year it was when Tavares got hurt and Nylander played a lot better. But i off course dont want Tavares hurt he is fantastic, but just not with Nylander. It is for bringing out the best in both players.

So.

Is everyone enjoying the playoff beast mode Nylander tonight?

Doesn't hit, doesn't defend, doesn't generate offense, takes a stupid penalty, watches Sergachev score from the face-off circle (somehow closer to the net than Nylander) and gets rewarded with a move up to the top line.

Honestly, if he's unwilling to move his feet, he can just pack his bags and f*** right off.

I am not sure
I have watched this core
They lose every time
Maybe this time is different
-Kyle Dubas and William Keefe

Has a lousy start, two assists in the third so far
You know what's changed?

He started skating and playing with some speed.

If only he were able to do that for 20 minutes a night, he'd be incredible.

It's not like people are asking him to score more or make more plays, it's as simple as

SKATE

Everything stems off his skating

Good thing willy got icetime with Marner

Big money move to draw the penalty then assist on the OT goal. What a beauty.

It was a tale of 2 Nylanders.

That of the first 2 periods who was going through the motions.

That of the last 2 periods who was engaged and looked determine to be a factor.

Effort should not be coaxed from your best players in the playoffs.
It should be the very last thing demanded more of, because it should be there.

Not a single superstar in this game between all of ours and all of theirs looked good for the entire 60 minutes. The only tale is that Nylander is the only one who has to stand out for all 60 to get love here. Everyone else gets to do whatever they want.

Nylander was the most dominant forward to end the game and we ended up winning . That's all that matters.

He was so good late in the game and then in the OT. Three assists and forcing them to take a penalty or he would have ended it himself. Man when Willie Styles, he really Styles.

That's just plainly not true.

Matthews was a force all game long despite not finishing.
All of the little things that also contribute to winning games, Matthews has done them every shift of the 4 games, and Nylander hasn't done them almost at all this whole series.

Points are great. They're reflective of the actual goals scored, but you need not play well to accumulate points.

It's when you play well and get the points that you start to stand out and thus far Nylander has done that far too sporadically within the games.

At even strength, Nylander didn't record a shot until the 3rd period and didn't record a single scoring chance for.

Now, he was guaranteed to score on the overtime play that drew the penalty, so that should be considered, but it wasn't until overtime that he actually did any of that.

Not even diceman picks on Nylander anymore. So if you're still going even after tonight's comeback, you have issues.

Life will be less stressful if you just enjoy having him on the team. Must be depressing watching games just hoping Nylander screws up so you can feel vindicated.

It's crazy when we are losing Nylander always looks bad but we always need him to catch up and win.

37 points in 43 games 3rd on team behind Mathews and Marner. 15 goals, 2nd on team behind Mathews. Averages 5 minutes a game less ice time than Marner and Mathews. Makes 3 to 4 million less. But sure fire his ass out of here.

Not sure who comes out for Bunting. I would have said Kerfoot, but how can you do that after he scores the game winning goal. ZAR brings toughness, but so does Lafferty and he is a right handed shot. I think I would take out ZAR, who's done nothing wrong but someone has to come out and I need Knies in their.

Knies-Matthews-Nylander
Bunting-O'Reilly-Marner
Tavares-Acciari-Jarnkrok
Kerfoot-Kampf-Lafferty

Sure

If you ignore literally everything I said.

Very intuitive is Mr. Confucius

Could not watch, but did he get better after a line change? If so, FU Keefe. If not good for him to step up.

Did he play with Tavares all game?
Is there anywere you can find line changes during a game. After a game.
