I still have goosebumps while watching this. Lets do it again. :yo:

Definitely the greatest moment of my life in sports. It was an absolutely amazing cup run for our first and I will never forget it. If we win it again this year it will be just as sweet!

It is big possibility that here in Slovenia in Kopitars home town Jesenice will make public live watching of all SC final games in hockey hall, which can accept up to 6.000 spectators...

Majority of games will start at 2:00am our local time.

This is awesome. Definitely looking forward to pics if it happens. Love knowing that all the way in Slovenia, there are fans just as invested as we are out here in California. We are all Kings, indeed. :)

Go Kings. Sweep out the trash.
beat 'em up and beat 'em down.

Islander Country is behind you all the way.:handclap:

I don't envy Vigneault's job of trying to figure out match-ups. Who does he match Kopitar with? And Carter?

That's the one spot I think the Kings have a real advantage, do the Rangers have 2 pairs to matchup with the top 2 lines? I'm not sure. If Chicago couldn't do it for an extended period (multiple games), i'm not sure who can. That said, we all know Lundy can nullify all of that.

These are the lines the Rangers rolled in Game 6 vs. Montreal and who they matched up against:

Kreider-Stepan-Nash
vs.
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Gionta

Pouliot-Brassard-Zuccarello
vs.
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher

Hagelin-Richards-St. Louis
vs.
Vanek-Briere-Bournival

Moore-Boyle-Dorsett
vs.
Prust-Eller-Bourque

My guess is that we see the following matchups:

Gaborik-Kopitar-Brown
vs.
Kreider-Stepan-Nash

Pearson-Carter-Toffoli
vs.
Pouliot-Brassard-Zuccarello

King-Stoll-Williams
vs.
Hagelin-Richards-St.Louis

Clifford-Richards-Lewis
vs.
Moore-Boyle-Dorsett

My guess is AV rolls 3 lines

I honestly don't see how the rangers can score many goals even with quick just being average. That lineup is just meh.

People keep talking about their speed etc. Kings are pretty fast in their own right, and have players that actually score.

All this talk about how great their D is, im not buying it. Every game I watched in the eastern conference were allowed to set up camp in the slot area. I honestly think the kings will still score at the same pace regardless of who is in net

To me the Rags have one thing that can get them the cup and it is Hank.

If he is on his game and Quicker doesn't play his best it could be a long tough series.

Other then that I have to say we have a solid shot at winning.

For comparisons sake, this is the Devils lineup the Kings faced in 2012:

Parise-Zajac-Kovalchuk
Elias-Zubrus-Sykora
Ponikarovsky-Henrique-Clarkson
Bernier-Carter-Gionta

New Jersey finished with the 8th best winning percentage that season, ranked 15th during the regular season in goals for, 9th best GAA in the league, ranked 14th on the PP and had the #1 PK unit in the league in 2012.

The 2014 Rangers had the 12th best winning percentage this season, ranked 18th in goals for, 4th best GAA, 15th overall PP, 3rd best PK this year.

Both teams were also pretty bad at faceoffs, below 50%.

You know what. I love our chances. Their forward group is a joke. That was a disgusting first and second line.

We will score a lot of goals. We tend to make Vets look like sieves. Brodeur, Smith, niemi, hiller. Yes I get that Henrik is good. But a goalie can't do it himself and that's that.

Compare the 2012 Devils line up to the current Rangers one. It's almost sad how bad the east is that they are in the Stanley Cup final.

More like Quick will and then the rest of the team I dunno but i'm sure it includes much pain. Alisa will likely be scoping in her sniper rifle for the next game. :sarcasm:

My only consolation had we lost to the Hawks would have been not worrying about the NY runs on Quickie :sarcasm: it's slightly a concern, but this is the Finals. Act like a ***** get slapped like a *****. I'm sure our team is ready to back Quick up, if necessary.

Send Clifford in to break Kreider's jaw if we catch just a whiff that he's trying to hurt Quick.

The Kings aren't gonna roll over like some Eastern team. They will massacre anyone who even breathes on Quick the wrong way.

It all depends on how fatigued we are. I hope they have something left in the tank for his series after the Chicago series.
