If you play defense the way you did against the Hawks, you will not beat the Rangers. You are not consistently hanging 4 on Henrik no matter what all the armchair gm's at hfboards think nor are the Rangers going to **** themselves and blow leads. Good luck.
Don't worry, your team doesn't have anywhere near the amount of talent the Hawks have, so we don't have to worry about giving up that many goals.

You better worry about what happens when the Rangers realize their goon **** doesn't do anything to the Kings other than leading to the Kings scoring a lot of goals against them. And if Kreider "trips" into Quick, he will have a broken jaw. The lack of composure the Rangers showed against Montreal should be a major concern. The Kings love that stuff.

Someone remind me who the Toews or Kane or Hossa or Saad or Keith or Seabrooks are on the Rangers. Don't come in here running your mouth like that disrespectful Rags fan.

Were not worried about it at all but it sure looks like you Rag fans are spending a bunch of time thinking about it.

Just be sure to keep Kreider from going Bruce Lee on Quick and we can all see which team is best. Oh and no, he wasn't tripped, he was going full speed at Price and nothing was going to change that.

Good luck random Rag fans.

The Kings feed on dumb, stupid, undisciplined teams. Case in point - St. Louis and their captain Mr. Pressure Cooker. Someone tell me how the Kings fared against them the last two seasons? Oh, that's right, we throttled them.

Ranger fans saying LA in 1 or 3...

We will make Henrik cry.

My NHL Playoff Bracket picks before the start of the post season:

As you see from my pick of the total goals scored in the Cup Final, I'm not anticipating a high scoring series nor was I anticipating a long series, but meh, my final pick is what matters most. ;)

Chicago was the Soviets. You're Finland.

Love when Rangers fans watch this series and think that's more representative of our defense than every other game this year. The Blackhawks play a style that we're clearly uncomfortable with so we're forced to outscore them. We adapted, and we won. You should be more scared ****less that we won with Quick not at his best and our defense, you know, how you felt about it.

The Rangers play a style we're much more comfortable with and you won't have to blow a lead because you're about to get slaughtered. King of nothing is going to want a long trip home this offseason.

Good luck.

That was strangely arousing, I was like oh yeah brad, you go man lol.

Going to be much tougher than some think. What the Rangers lack in center depth and pure offensive skill, they make up for in team speed, a stifling defense, and one of the best goalies in the world. Goals will be much harder to come by, and Quick and the defense will need to be much better because coming back from multiple goals down won't be nearly as easy. I think Lundqvist steals two games, but we win in seven.

i know the Rangers are good, but are they better than a team that took out SJ, Anaheim, AND Chicago? iiiiiiii dont think so

offense - LA
defense - id say its pretty even
goalie - NY, just cause Quick has been off

we can do this

The Kings are the sixth team in NHL history to advance to the Stanley Cup Final with a Game Seven overtime victory in the preceding round of the playoffs. The others are the 1939 Bruins (Mel Hill), 1950 Red Wings (Leo Reise, Jr.), 1968 Blues (Ron Schock), 1979 Canadiens (Yvon Lambert) and 1994 Rangers (Stephane Matteau). The only one of those five teams that didn't go on to win the Cup that year was the 1968 Blues, who were swept by Montreal in the Final.

I'm definitely not underestimating the Rangers, they are absolutely capable of winning this series. With that said, I think they are the fourth best team we will be playing in this years playoffs.

The Kings should absolutely dominate in the faceoff circle in the SCF:

Playoffs:Kings 2nd, Rangers 12th

Regular season: Kings 3rd, Rangers 22nd
