Actually, haven't seen any of it. Not really looking for it, don't give a flying rat's ass what fans of other teams think of the Kings.
Personally, I am taking the Rangers pretty lightly. I sure hope the Kings don't. They would lose for sure if they do.
I will get a better feel for what NYR is all about in the first period tomorrow night. Then maybe I will feel reassured, scared to death, or somewhere in between. We'll have to see. Just don't know what they really bring...saw some of their playoff games but that was against some ordinary teams so...
Yes-en-NI-tze. put the weight on NI.
ouch, my fault. Yes-en-Nee-tze.
this is advanced, for 10 years i've been talking about the difference btwn slovenia & slovakia.![]()

So Nee not Ni... I'll work on that! But the che vs. tze was the big one for me. Way off there.
The videos of the open-air viewings in 2012 were amazing. Word is same thing is happening this time around. Hope to see some footage.
i'll post the videos from slovenia here after game 1. it should be magic. btw, kopi's home town is hrusica = Hrooo!-shee-tza. that's where his parents live. jesenice just next door.
Thank you Hrusica!
Sweep them.
I want this nightmare to be over. I've had to root for the Flyers and the Pens for **** sake. I don't care about what happened in 2012. Just make sure those blue****s don't come close to winning another Stanley Cup and that 1994 lasts another 5000 lifetimes.
That bad, huh? I thought the Scuderi/Stoll situation in game 6 meant permanent enmity.
ACcording to the main boards, boyle is now a stud in his own zone and will get get time against kopi if the rags have a lead. they are even calling him elite defensively. Never thought I would see the day.....

I haven't been at the main board, but I did think that. Boyle has been locked in on the 4th line for some time now, but during the season he was on the 3rd line a little when needed. His physical presence and overall game has once again far surpassed his regular season game. It would not surprise me in the least, to see him placed to match up with Kopitar, not one bit. Obviously Kopitar can dominate, and if he does have his way a bit too much......that'll probably happen. Believe it or not, he is a VERY big part of this team and makes huge contributions, sometimes subtle, sometimes not.
Don't get it mixed up. I still hate the Kings. It's better then in 2012. I gained some respect with those epic comebacks these playoffs. Just beastly performances this year. Plus it helps that that piss ant troll Scuderi isn't on the team anymore.
Still, I don't care who faces the Rangers. It could be ANY western team for all I care. I'm not prepared for seeing those ****heads win a cup. My disdain for the Kings is NOWHERE close for my disdain for the Rangers. Seriously, if NY wins I'm going to have to hide in a remote area until October. I can't deal with "THE RAINDID WUT DA DEBBIES COULDNT BRAH!" for months upon months. My God their fans are awful and simply unbearable.
A sweep would make me so happy. Otherwise I'm gonna down shot after shot of mixed kerosene and everclear.
If AV puts Boyle against Kopitar, he doesn't have a very smart hockey mind.
While I agree with that, Boyle has come a long way from his LA days. He is a very solid 3rd/4th line C. He plays a really strong board game and is solid positionally. He is not elite by any means but he is a quality player and the fact that he is on the 4th line is a compliment to NYR depth. Most teams he would be above that, much like how Richards would also not be not a 4th liner on almost any other team.
So...
Defense: Kings won Jennings...
Goalie: Quick has a cup...
Offense: Kings 1st in playoffs.
I'm ready to see Boyle shut down Kopitar... I mean Towes limited Kopitar pretty well how hard can it be right?
Can't wait for the game.
Sounds like RR thinks he is ready. I would even say he must be medially cleared to say:
"Right now it basically just comes down to coaches decision"
-Robyn Regehr
Awesome. Take out Greene.
I think this speaks volumes to how much KK hates Greene because he equally complains about RR.
