On a personal level, lost 50 lbs this year. Went from 233 at the beginning of the year to 183. I'm 6'2''. First time in a long while people actively notice me and smile when I say hello. Pretty nice feeling.

Had to share.

Wow.

So cooking a prime rib roast for the family for xmas.

Stopped by legit butcher first, and for a 3 bone roast it was like $94....
So moved on to Vons, who was actually only a dollar less per pound, still about $90, but with Vons club card it was like $60... Right on.

One left, and it was like half hanging out of the packaging. Talked to the butcher and he said he would re-wrap it. Brings it back out and I start walking up to the front.

He re-wrapped it and with a label for a boneless pork loin blade roast, $30.

So ~$90 cut of meat for ~$30. **** yeah.
