Schmid has a 1.98 GAA and .927 SV% this season. I want to see more of him. Numbers look better when you take out that one game he started when he was called up the day of. That was unfortunate for him.
That doesn’t even include tonight.

He’s now a .930% after going 12 for 12 tonight.

I think you gotta start him next game.

Why does it seem like Nico’s line got worse when Bratt was inserted into his line, while simultaneously making Jack’s line better when he left it. And now, Nico’s line is good again after Bratt came off, and Jack’s line is now meh. It’s coincidence right? :/

A lot of takes on Jack Hughes, on pace for 103 points, after one single game where he doesn’t get a point. He has 7 points in 6 games since coming back from the injury and was very good against Philly last weekend.

We can take some depth scoring for once. He’ll keep on going, as he’s done all year.

I'm fine with Hughes not scoring tonight but he did look a bit off, it happens though. Scoring 14 goals and our superstar only had a hand in two of those goals himself, it's the depth we've been craving for.

Damn didn’t know Tatar had such a great plus minus. He is a very smart player, reminds me of Patrick Elias with a little less skill.

He is a must resign in the offseason, just one of those underrated guys that could help us in a cup run.

Honestly the team needs to push for the first place in the Metro. I’d much rather play an easy first round against the Pens/Islanders over a blood bath versus the Rangers with the Canes right after that. Get first, we are catching up to the Canes now…

Are Senators the easier opponent to play than rags, when (and if) they will catch hot streak in the end of the season like they did before? Still don't have Shestyorkin?
Islanders have Sorokin. Outside pens, I don't see really "good" opponent to play against.

Just finished watching the highlights. Looked like it wasn't VVs best game, but the rest of the team pulled through for him.

How the hell did they miss the high stick on Marino that lead to Nuke scoring minutes into the third?
Just did the same and yea holy shit, that seemed pretty blatant

I prefer this to blowing them out. We don't have playoff experience so they need to learn some lessons in tough games now

And I mean we dominated them anyway. This was close because of the Avs having an Avs spurt and Vitek playing like shit.

Check it out Fam
