If that was a good weeks practice, Yikes!
please tell me what I’m missing in #9? just don’t see it sorry.
agree with Spez 100%, Matt Sookram would be perfect PA man.

I think the battalion would be better spreading the scoring a bit with Wakely or Romani or acquired player with Jackson & Petrov.
You must have seen Ertel’s playmaking ability with Jackson & Petrov. I think you would see it with Arnsby & MacDonald if that were a line as well.

Agreed spread the scoring. Sprinkle some bottom 6 into top and top into bottom. Preferably romani up and armsby down however that works.
Ertel talented but the multiple stupid 2 minute minors every game is a buzzkill.

They said Outwater was traded because they already had enough scoring forwards up front - really? where were they last night?

Liked the stupid minors is a buzzkill; that should be fixed.
Arnsby is not moving down. Even though he does not accumulate points, he creates offence with forced turn overs. Maybe switch Ertel & VanSteensel.
Though Ertel-Arnsby-MacDonald would be a formidable 2nd line imo.

im not panicking but #9Ertel as got to improve, as not been effective yet for a drafted player
 
I would like to see #16 11 19 together. They played well near the end of the season and playoffs last year.

Ertel is still adjusting. I’ll give him another 6-8 games.

Early in the season. No reason to panic.

North Bay is not as good as they think they are.
Jackson has the highest points on the team with 10, that’s 26th in the league. Misa the 15 yr old in Saganaw has 14.
Petrov is second with 9 which is 49th. Then Nelson , after that is Ertel with 4. WTF!!! 4 points for a 19yr old. Arnsby has 3 and Terasevich has 3. These boys are 19 years old and should be dominant.
Beckett Sennecke For Oshawa is 16 he has 9 points. Too much attitude and selfishness. Unless the make changes this team is going nowhere.

It’s pretty clear the battalion need a legit top six RW if they are intent on a top four finish.
However, half a dozen teams have 10 GP. Two including NB have 7 GP, MacDonald & Winslow 2 GP. Add a reasonable 4-5 pts in 3 games for Jackson & Petrov and NB has top 10 scorers.

Still sloppy but better than Thursday. I know it's early but I don't get the hype over this Barrie team.
Good:
15, 21, 29, 9, 8, 22, 11, 14, 28

Middle of the road:
2, 3, 4, 26, 31

Need to be better:
19, 24, 10, 12, 16

If they hope to go deep this year 19 & 24 need to take care of the puck better. I am normally a fan of 10, 12 & 16 but they seemed to struggle mightily at times. In the end a win is a win.

On to the normally tough 3 game stretch from Windsor to London to Guelph, good luck boys.

Another "fan" who only looks feels individual goals and assists hold more value than team wins.

Great analysis on a 5-3 team that just got back two OA's 3 games ago and one of their best D just about to come back, don't quit your day job
