I don't know if those of you at the game noticed the same thing I did....
- but the more physical the game got on North Bay's part, the more Barrie backed off and made it plain that they wanted NONE of it (Even Petrov was getting in on the Hit Parade!). I hope the Troops were good with filing game notes after this one...they may just have found the key to their series in how they played this afternoon.

When you compare the two power plays, Barrie’s moves and creates chances and ours looks like a u10 team. Nelson, Jackson and Petrov firing shots at the net with nobody in front of the net. Park Lukin at the top of the crease, will draw D to him and open the slot and the wings and all with a screen.

Funny I saw the same thing. And the crew was quick to give the refs the thumbs up when they took forever to give one for North Bays first goal. Looking at a potential offside was ridiculous. Barrie is unbearable to watch. And Clarke gets away with a lot of interference.

Hislop took himself out of the play diving to cover a player who was already taken and heading to a non-danger area.
He didn't seem to have a very good game.
What's the score if #31 doesn't stand on his head. Lots of passengers last night. 4 shots on goal in the third??? Butler hockey!!!

Josh Bloom is a frustrating player to watch. Invincible at times. On the topic of invincible has anyone seen 30 goal scorer Dayln Wakely? Tarasevich has turned it up as of late.
