We will find out in 45mins. I expect the same PP.

I like the D pairing. Hislop and Nelson played very well together in the past. Go Troops!

Best 2 out of 3 now, with 2 possible home games.
Time to want this or we will be humbled coach O.
PP is unbearable to watch, please see 2023 and Samee above posts.
Team is advertising FISH for Good Friday’s game…guess will see.

First round not as easy as we thought hey? Same with us, leading 2-1 but the Gens have given us all we can handle the last two. They deserve credit for their effort. First round is not the cakewalk I expected in the O this year. 5 of 8 series are a surprise imo.

In any sport, the playoffs are a time to expect the unexpected. The confident talk about a series sweep has changed to concern about survival.

Regular season doesn't mean squat. It's a whole new season when playoffs start. The board is erased and everyone is back at zero. Every team is fair game and can win it all. Heck some teams don't even play up to their full strength in the regular season. As long as they make the playoffs, that's all that matters. They'll pump it up then.

PP1 stays on for 1:30 of every power play which is an issue. PP overall is 2 for 17 with one shorty against. Can’t understand why this coach is too stubborn to change something that clearly is not working

Let ‘em freewheel on the PP, can’t be any worse than the awkward attempts they are making now. It’s almost like they’re trying to follow a script and once one little piece goes wrong they don’t know what to do.

The issue I have with the PP is 26 won't shoot, 22 won't shoot and 11 can't shoot. That leaves 24 (who is covered) and 15 who is having success becuz he WILL shoot the puck. Insert some shooters. 18-19-14 come to mind.

I’d split 26 and 22.
New pp should look like 19,24,27,18 and 26

Tough task ahead tonight. Our guys need to simplify their game, out hit and out skate Mississauga. Get rid of the fancy-a$$ drop and blind behind the back passes and get it done with some dirty goals. Those ones count the same as pretty ones. Pass the puck up the ice, there is no reason to try and stick handle through every one every time up the ice. I’m talking to you Zito, McDonald and Nelson.

28/20 or 2, doesn’t matter imo

Hopefully reignite Jackson et al, Wakely line was dominant when they had a 3 week run together. Arnsby/Zito digging the puck out for Big Mac’s big shot.

There’s the magic potion friends, hopefully he coach sees this pregame and follows precisely.

I’m sure you can add 26 and 22 with the stick handling.

Wakely is best playing centre; but Arnsby, Jackson, Zito are best playing centre too, and doubt we see any of those three on the wing.
The Battalion can make several combinations of four good lines.
Jackson-Arnsby-MacDonald
Petrov-Wakely-Ertel
Bloom-Zito-Romani
VanSteensel-Procyszyn-Tarasevich

I think Lukin’s presence does matter.
Hislop-Christopolous
Lukin/(Mathurin)-Nelson
Winslow-Kennedy/Brzustowski

My “doesn’t matter” referred to 20 or 2. I’m a Lukin lover.
I just went with 2 solid lines that have worked and no need to mess with the 4th as they’ve been great and certainly the most consistent.
On D Winslow is by far the best retrieving pucks along the boards and pairing him with Nelson frees Ty up from having as much board play, he’s not very good along the boards.

Maybe I’ve been so underwhelmed by injury riddled Winslow as an OA that I under appreciate what he does well.
