I just heard that the ice plant at the Gardens went overnight. The teams and league are scurrying around trying to find a suitable location for game two if it is not ready for tomorrow and apparently they are leaning towards Temiskaming. Wow

In the last 7 home games, Tony Romani has been named 1st star 4 times and 2nd star once. This young sniper is on some kind of home heater.

Hard to be critical of this team with the season they are having but Battalion players refusal to shoot the puck when given clear looks is something that is going to bite them as the playoffs go on. The Nelson one-timer on the PP is getting stale also.

Predictions today? I’ll go with 6-1 NB.

The PP shouldn’t be an issue with the offence they have. It’s been inconsistent all year. I wonder if this PP unit would be affective. Forwards Petrov Zito Romani. Defence Nelson and Jackson. Go Troops Go!

I think Romani has proven he has the soft hands for in close and an accurate enough shot to be on PP1.
Jackson has a better shot than Zito, he is the better option for the ‘bumper play’.
Petrov is the best pass-shoot forward option on the point; and by far the most trustworthy to not allow scoring chances for the opposition PK.

The coach's fascination with Cap'n Arny on the first unit remains a mystery for me. Unsold at noon were 919, attendance should be 3200/3300, 7th in a row at 3+, good news.

Crowd yelling shoot will always be annoying but at a certain point you do have to get some pucks on net during the pp

The coach's fascination with Cap'n Arny on the first unit remains a mystery for me. Unsold at noon were 919, attendance should be 3200/3300, 7th in a row at 3+, good news.

Arnsby is good at controlling the puck on the boards and retrieving loose pucks around the goal area and from there sets up good shots. Also, Arnsby takes routes to the net that opens passing and shooting lanes. It can go unnoticed, but not by his coaches or Florida GM that noted that ability when discussing Arnsby’s blossoming offensive game.

Yep it would have been better than what happened. I called exactly after the last game what would happen if we let up at all.

Singling out 1 player isn’t going to change what happened today. If you’re going to pick on a D at least pick on the one that had the worst game. Watch the GWG again if you must.

First loss since February. As Aaron Rodgers said “Relax”. We will be fine. Biggest area for fix is clearly PP1…..0 for 9

19 now with 11 and 9.
12 now with 18 and 27.

Hopefully tonight is the night Jackson finds his groove.

I wish R.O. would put 12/14/22 together, they were dynamite the couple weeks they were together.
