The defense plays way too soft. What killed them was the Vikings 3rd down conversions all game long. It just feels like the passion of the Salah and Ryans defenses are not there this year and I'm concerned. Also, Purdy is showing that he is human after all. Those two interceptions were costly. I'm not going to give up on him, but the honeymoon period is close to being over.
Pass rush didn't generate a whole lot of pressure vs Minny either.
Have to be realistic with Purdy. He's not a top 8 QB. He'd be in that second tier from 9-16 group, closer to the top vs the bottom. It's good that he was in these tight games in the 4th.

The decision by Wilks to call a blitz with less than 10 seconds left in the half was so bad. And Ward for trying to pad his stats by trying to get another pick, rather than just swatting the ball. He could’ve even just gone for the tackle; with no time-outs left, a completed pass would have ended the half.

17 seconds left at the Minny 40. 20 yards to give the K a 57/58 yard attempt. In bounds play very pretty much ends the half (anything over 15 yards). Tried to pressure Cousins to force a quick throw and tackle to end the half. Ward was in position. Just didn't secure the ball. If he catches it clean, potential run back to mid field. SF had a timeout so maybe a shot at a FG attempt before half if he picks it.

Wonder what SF does at the TDL. They created cap space for a reason this season. Better make use of it. Philly shored up their Safety position with Byard. And SF still has comp. picks for losing Ryans.

I think the 49ers took these two teams lightly and it cost them. I understand a mental sag after putting a lot of focus on the Cowboys in primetime but it didn't seem like they took these past two games all that seriously. The coaching has been off and the execution has been sloppy. They still had a chance to win them and you need to win games where you're not at your best as that's just part of the game but the message for the coaches and players should be to take the Bengals as seriously as you took the Cowboys and get back to being a consistent team as it relates to effort and execution and play calls. Just because Deebo is out doesn't mean you can't run a bubble screen on the outside to Aiyuk or even Kittle. It's like Shanahan doesn't understand how to utilize just Aiyuk and Kittle without Samuel and/or McCaffrey there.

The Chiefs are winning again anyways. You think the league is gonna pass up on Taylor and Travis embracing and kissing after the SB? They got the script ready.

You push the tush but that leaves the noggin vulnerable. That's the danger of brotherly shoving.
Have to keep your head down and not exposed up high like Purdy did there. Brady never had Hurts leg strength, but he was previously the most automatic QB at the sneak. Always found the gap between the C and G.

Purdy is clearly injured/concussed and should not have played against Cincinnati. I get they're doing all they can to stop a losing streak, but that was a terrible decision.
Short week, limited practice, vs a team coming off a bye week with a top tier QB who is close to healthy. Asking a lot for the kid to go toe to toe with Joe.

The Warriors have had one game all season where someone other than Curry scored 20 or more points

It was Dario Saric against the Thunder with exactly 20 points

This team probably isn't doing anything this year, they just don't have a real 2nd scoring option, Klay and Wiggins are shells of themselves out there

As for the Niners, that might have been the most frustrating 30 point win I've ever watched, lol

Between inconsistent reffing, undisciplined sideline BS wiping out the biggest play of Ambry Thomas' career and the Jags pretending they had any pride at all just in time to steal the record from CMC I barely even enjoyed it

Happy to see the offense working again with Trent and Deebo in and the defense felt a lot more engaged with Wilkes on the sideline, Fred Warner is the best
