Man, just a fourth for Lance.

I remember watching draft coverage thinking ugh this guy has such ugly throwing form. I was slightly skeptical of his lack of college exp but I gave thencoaching staff the benefit of the doubt because Shanahan is a QB whisperer and they had seen younger Lance at previous football camps and stuff. No longer will I trust lack of exp. The Rings of Power hired showwriters with lack of exp and they massively f***ed that up. As for Lance, oh wells I guess. I look at it as spending a first on Purdy so whatever I guess. We got our QB anyways.

I think Lance put himself into a position to get drafted high in the NFL, but not into a position to succeed in the NFL given his limited playing time. It's too late for him to elevate to QB2 since he has to learn a brand new playbook. He's QB3 for the rest of the season.

Think Dallas acquired him for leverage vs Dak in contract negotiations. They get a chance with just a 4th (conditional), to evaluate Lance. DAk is a $59.5mill cap charge next season, so a restructure needs to be worked out or they need to cut him. Dak is a $62 mill dead cap if cut in the off-season (if he gets cut, Dallas is splitting that over 2 years, so taking $24 then $36 mill approximately). So, would need a cheap option at QB if they move off Dak. Lance would be in year 4 so, low money and cap hit. They can't pick up the 5th year option and commit over $20 mill to him for 2025. Maybe like Love, they give him a 1 year deal for 2025 as some security and buys him some time to develop.

5.5 million dollar signing bonus. Why go get into the concussion machine when you've already made enough to retire?

Someone here was high on Brock Purdy early last season right? Who was this clairvoyant person? I remember them praising Purdy and I thought what they said was said in jest.

Hmmmm
Needs a name...

SF She Gulls?
SF Karlas?
SF Warrioresses?

While noodling around trying to think of names I ran across this gem:
