Kershaw gave up more runs in a third of an inning tonight than Baumgarner gave up the entire 2014 postseason

I once believed Kershaw's ineptitude in the playoffs to be funny but not anymore. It's most likely feels like traumatic deja-vu for him very time this happens and I don't wish that upon anyone. Yea at least he won a WS but still that deja-vu feeling creates so much anxiety (I know cuz I get it)

His Mickey Mouse title came in the year with no fans. Can you really be the greatest if you can't handle the pressure of the spotlight?

Good point. And it doesn’t help that Kershaw is really likable. The Dodgers’ version of Posey.

I'm not sure how anyone credible could have thought this, when he was almost always considered along the elite. As someone from Calgary, who has been diehard niners since the days of Montana ( yes bandwagon at the time, and a kid at the time) this is one of the most confident times I can remember being. And let's be honest, it always feels good to kick the cowboys ass.

That was a make-able kick but still gotta feel for Moody. Lotta things wrong with this game. Awful playcalling throughout the game by Shanahan(also should’ve ran one final play on 3rd) and obviously refball with the personal foul.

But Purdy wasn’t going to be undefeated all year. Of all games to lose to get the monkey off his back, a game that they should have won if not for the refs and a missed FG isn’t bad.

Yikes, time to make some trades and crawl to the bye week to regroup...bad loss, especially by the defense (Wilks being the big culprit)

Both Philly and SF have not clicked great this season. Happens when there is brain drain in the coaching staff. OC/DC will take a couple of assistants with them and promote them to bigger roles. Just the reality of things.

Especially when you are promoting younger coaches from within. More shiny and new to be poached vs a veteran like Spags in KC who with just Jones on D has made that unit really strong.

As for Purdy, you do want to see him fight through adversity. As he’s not always going to have this level of Talent around him, especially when he comes off his rookie contract. 64 seconds to go 60 yards but throws a puck forcing a ball into a tight window. He still looked poised overall. Still on the mix for the 1 seed. But it’s more likely than not coming down to that h2h vs Philly.

The defense plays way too soft. What killed them was the Vikings 3rd down conversions all game long. It just feels like the passion of the Salah and Ryans defenses are not there this year and I'm concerned. Also, Purdy is showing that he is human after all. Those two interceptions were costly. I'm not going to give up on him, but the honeymoon period is close to being over.
