I'm by no means a KC fan (although I do like Andy Reid, Montana, Grbac, Alex Smith and Mahomes), but I would have LOOOOOOOOOOOOVED them winning 2 straight OT games by scoring a TD on the opening drive after they were the only team who wanted to change the OT rules to be fair and everyone else was like nah

Well that's fair. Absolutely a huge waste given what the rest of the roster showed. Garappolo was the weakest link. Teams don't have to take him seriously. Seeing Deebo sad because Garappolo sucks is not fun.

I'm not saying Trey Lance is going to be a superstar. But he absolutely possesses superstar ability. He's big, has a rocket launcher of an arm, can run, scramble. Basically everything you'd ask Josh Allen or Mahomes to do, Lance has the ability. The question is whether or not he can develop those tools and become a good decision maker. Jimmy has none of those things. It'll be exciting to see how Shanahan utilizes a QB with a skillset so totally opposite from Jimmy.
