We move forward. Chaos ball reigns supreme.
GOMS
Btw we just witnessed the best game in Mariners history. I don’t think it’s a discussion. That was a historic comeback that will live for ages.
Edgar’s double happened, you guessed it, 27 years….TO THE DAY.I can think of 2 better, the 95 playoff clincher and the ALDS clincher. Those ruled. This is up there with them. If only it had been at home.
I was gonna say, HERE COMES SOJO!!!I can think of 2 better, the 95 playoff clincher and the ALDS clincher. Those ruled. This is up there with them. If only it had been at home.

That's awesome. The most memorable games I saw in person were probably "Turn Forward the Clock Night" and one of the games during Griffey's 8-game homer streak (I think the last one?).I was there.
What a brutal end to the game. Not quite as painful as super bowl 49 but still sucked

Also a brawl with the Tigers.
That’s awesome. I was at one of the 8-game streak games as well. I feel like it was important, so possibly also the last one. Also managed to see two 1-hitters (I believe Randy Johnson, the one f***ing Ken Phelps hit the only hit, a home run, for the A’s with 1 out in the 9th) and I think Brian Holman or Erik Hanson.
Actually it turns out I misphrased it – it was "Turn Ahead the Clock Night" — it was the first of what a lot of teams do now, where they pretend they're playing in the future with wacky uniforms, like the opposite of a retro night. If I recall they might have tied it into that ad campaign in the early '90s where an old guy called "Elmo 'Skippy' Nordquist" talked to us from the future about all the glory years he witnessed the M's have. (Or maybe that was a different promotion, because I also remember them saying that the "present day" version of Elmo was at the game in question.)What was the Turn Forward the Clock night?
OK, I also saw Johnson pitch a 1-hitter against the A's, so I wonder if it was actually the same game too. Although probably not -- this was Mike Gallego hitting a single in the 9th to end it.

Here are clips from the game I was at:
After. 1 yard, 1 play away from back to back super bowls and a potential dynasty. The team never really recovered from it.Well, Super Bowl 49 was after or before the Seahawks win? I haven’t seen a football game in 24 years. I suppose I could Google though.

I also went to Nolan Ryan’s last game, which of course, was in Seattle.
The Sojo moment was easily the best I’ve seen in person though. I used to get to about 10-20 games a year with my dad as a kid.
What was the Turn Forward the Clock night?
"Try the playoffs," they said. "You're going to love it," they said.
Oh, that’s too good
