Why would JJ sign long term on a team without a QB? He's going into his (~$20m?) 5th year option next season and is then a free agent. Then he's either lost for nothing or they franchise him a couple of times (this tends to make the player angry).

Just as a football fan I think it would be fun to see JJ in Houston with Stroud. Is it something that is realistic? I have no clue.
Money talks. Its the end all be all. (Its also why i dont think hes going anywhere)

Hes not a FA after next year. After his 5th year option we can franchise tag him and then franchise tag him again but for a ridiculous sum if we dont come up with a deal.

I really like that the packers don’t have a star receiver that demands the ball in his hands. It makes the receiving core dangerous since any one of Doubs, Reed, Wicks, Watson, Melton, Musgrave or Kraft could break out for 100 yards. Whoever is open is going to get the ball from Love. How many teams have three high quality cornerbacks, let alone five? How many teams can easily switch to defend 12 personnel?

Star receivers are not important if you have quality depth.

I dunno about a toxic personality. I thought it was more that he just wanted to be paid like a top player at his position (which he is), similar to what KC did for Mahomes and Kelsey.

I'm not sure about Rice, MVS drops are the thing I think of with KC receivers this year. The dead cap ($2m?) for MVS isn't bad if they cut him this offseason, so unless he restructures his ($13m?) contract I think he's gone.

This is why I don't see KC going after a high priced receiver, they have needs at other positions. I don't see them trading away their picks because they need those young players to fill out the roster for cheap.

I also wondering if what GB has done this year with their young, cheap, no name receiving corps hurts the WR market a little bit. It is a copycat league afterall.
According to a tip received by Local 10 News, the alleged incident took place at 6 p.m. Sunday when Hill got into a disagreement with the worker and ended up hitting the man. In a statement to the Miami Herald on Tuesday night, a spokesperson for the Dolphins said: “We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL. We will reserve further comment at this time.” Hill, 29, is one of the biggest names in the NFL but before the Dolphins made the blockbuster trade for him last offseason, he had a history of legal troubles with the Kansas City Chiefs and in college. In 2014, Hill was dismissed from Oklahoma State’s football team after being arrested and accused of domestic violence. Hill allegedly threw his pregnant girlfriend around “like a ragdoll,” punched her in the face, sat on her, punched her in the stomach and choked her, according to a police report obtained by the Tulsa World in Oklahoma. Hill pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation. He received three years of probation and was sentenced to enroll in a year-long anger-management course, a program designed to rehabilitate those who’ve been convicted of battery.

I'm sorry, but anyone who does that to a woman, let alone a pregnant woman, is straight out scum, in my books. NO excuse, ever.

I might be wrong, but I could swear there was an incident of Hill hitting (or knocking around) one of his children at the airport. Don't quote me on that.

Also, 3yo with his arm broken, but it was later determined to be an "accident". Hard to determine whether mother refused to testify, once considerable sums of hush money changed hands, or it really was an accident. With his history, he loses any benefit of the doubt, for me.

Yep GB's kicker cost them, called that weeks ago. Another Playoffs and another special teams out due to special teams. What is this the 4th time in recent years?

Beating the Bears twice was all I wanted this year. Everything else was just a bonus.

Carlson will have fun flipping burgers for the rest of his life. f*** that guy. Dumbass coaching decision to keep him on the roster. He missed at least one field goal in 10 of the last 12 games.

At least he's consistent in that respect? This loss doesn't near as much as the onside kick losses.

The real difference in the game was that SF d-backs caught their INT chances and GB didn't.

No, the literal difference in the game was that our dumbass kicker couldn't do the one f***ing job he is paid to do.

We used a draft pick on him too when he had problems with misses in college. Not surprising that he continued doing that at the next level! What a stupid f***ing draft pick.

That loss falls squarely on Love. You don’t attempt that throw at any level of football anywhere ever without drawing the ire of every coach watching. What an absolutely idiotic unnecessary brainless waste of a post season in that one pass attempt.

Also packers fans crying because their kicker missed a 41 yd attempt outside in the post season I’m the cold and pouring rain. Not sure you’ll get much sympathy around these parts lol

Honestly you're lucky Samuel went out lest GB would have lost by another TD or two. Completely threw the SF offense out of whack. I def wouldn't blame the kicker, and also that last throw.

I honestly have no idea who that is. But I don't disagree with their sentiment.

I would give your coach credit, I think he did a good job this yr.
I hate the Pack too, but Love had a great season

He was an absolute upgrade over Rodgers from last season

Well current Rodgers foot exploded on play 1 this yr

And for the record I don't hate GB. One my fave players of all time was GB (Matthews), and I've always been a big fan of Rodgers.

And I absolutely believe GB got way more shit talking rights than us Vikings fans with all their Lombardi's.
