Ravens Niners would be a good SB. Teams matchup extremely well.
The NFL has already announced this matchup for the Super Bowl

I'm rooting for Purdy to get the chance to finish What he didn't get to last year.

Just curious, if you had a choice between the two, who would you rather have as QB: Purdy or Goff?

Based off what I've seen, I think I would go with Goff. Purdy seems to be a little shaky when he doesn't have Deebo on the field. He seems to be a QB that needs ALL of his skill players (ie Deebo, McCaffrey, Kittle, etc.) on the field to be effective and if just one of them are missing, and gets a little pressure in his face, he looks like he is struggling.

I'm picking the Lions this Sunday over the Niners. It should be a good game, but if Deebo's shoulder keeps him out of the game, I think Detroit could win handilly.

This was basically the book on Goff for a lot of years too. Have to remember it's still only Purdy's second season.

Purdy. He's still improving as a player. Goff was abandoned by an elite offensive mind for a reason.

Purdy isn't any differnt than any young QB in history at the Moment. Everyone remembers The Catch, nobody remembers the 3 INTs prior.

Everyone remembers the MANY SB wins, nobody remembers only 149 yds passing in the 1st one.

Prior to this year, only 58 total 1st ballot players ever... never would've thought Joe would join that list. Bizarro world
...and 3 of them are from St Paul, practically the same neighborhood

It's pretty crazy. I am the same age as Mauer and we played him at sections and started hearing about him around my junior year. Knew he was good but didn't know he was HoF good growing up. Feels like yesterday...

0 World Series should never equal a first ballot HOF inductee. If you can’t win it all you weren’t that valuable

JoeD's 3 ballots got him into the HoF a year sooner after retirement than Mauer did on his 1st ballot.

The rules were different then. The list of eligible candidates was much larger but voters only got 10 votes each.

Babe Ruth (1st class), JoeD, Mel Ott, and Carl Hubbard were the only alive and well players the got in in less than 5 years after after retirement. Rodgers Hornsby probably would have also, but he fell into the WWII no vote years.

Neither Ernie Banks or Ken Griffey Jr ever played in a World Series either. You dont think they were 1st ballot worthy? Same goes for Rod Carew.

Ichiro will be on the ballot next year and Im guessing he gets in on the first try also.

Joe Barry fired as defensive coordinator for the packers. I wonder if they reach out to Jim Leonard again or if they give a guy like Al Harris a shot at DC.

Leonard seems like someone who should be considered for the job.
