No. It's like his 2nd year?

Why the heck would we move off of a young promising offensive minded HC after year 2? You know how hard it is to win games in the NFL let alone with a backup QBs? Robert Sakeh aint winning games with their backups, but Daboll is whos a offensive guy. But yeah lets fire him for defensive minded HC in 2023 who couldnt get along with Tua and made him look like a bust at QB. All but like 2 teams in the playoffs right now have offensive minded HC,

Was kind of being facetious - you know, the way franchises in all the four major sports now kick every HC to the curb after losing three games in a row.

At this point in pro sports with the lack of loyalty (literally among every segment - fans, players, teams and owners) nothing surprises me anymore so it wouldn't even surprise me if they did shitcan Oconnell

Our last coach was here from 2014-2021, I doubt Ziggy suddenly gets so impatient, when it's apparent this team has a QB problem.

Our last GM was here from 2006-2021

I was not impressed with Hall at all.

Any chance we see Dobbs tonight? His player type is Packer kryptonite.

Packer defense has looked surprisingly good.
It's over. What a horrible game. After this quarter I think I'm done w it.

You would think basically a playoff game would have been more exciting but this has been maybe the most unexciting game I've seen this yr.

Fan pressure is looking more likely. KOC doesn't instill confidence with how he's handled the QB situation after Cousins went down.
None of the QBs are any good. You guys almost have to draft one in the 1st/2nd round AND re-sign Cousins if you want to be competitive the next 3-5 years.

Something like McCarthy or Ewers and let them learn behind Cousins for 1-2 seasons.

I wouldn't even re-sign Cousins, unless he comes cheap.

I would. I wouldn't throw a rookie into the fire unless they are a top 5 pick.

I didn't say a throw the rookie in. Cousin's is a tier 4 starting QB, there will be plenty of those on the market for less than premium prices.

Vikings finishing around .500 and just barely missing the playoffs? I would have never guessed.

List the QBs available.

Wilson (probably), Cousins, Kapernick (because I want to be annoying), Mayfield (who they should get), any recent retired good QB they want to dust off. Add in the Garoppolo type of player who teams will gladly dump for nothing.

Lets face it the Viking QB is one of the easier jobs in the league with the ball catching talent they have. They are top-5 in passing with the crap they've had at QB this season. They are the ideal destination for any QB looking for a prove it deal.

Cousins is, at best, the 3rd best QB in the Central. I'd even take Fields (as he been playing the last month+) over him.

Joe Flacco could be a 1 year option while developing a young QB they draft

If Cousins is willing to re-sign at a reasonable price, i would prefer going that route

Didn't Flacco get a contract for next season?

We have to anyway. You have to be working on the future at QB all the time, be it starters or backups. Cousins is only a short term guy considering his age, so the future at starter is paramount.

Wilson is probably the best of the bunch, but it’s probably better to go with who they know and who knows the system.

It all depends on the money and contract structure.

Cousins just isn't a QB I'd give a lot of money (relatively speaking) to have/keep. He's a purgatory QB; meaning one that will put up good stats, keep the team around .500, but won't really win or lose games for the team.
