Ahhh , the giants were a terrible team. Equally as flawed and they came into US bank and destroyed the trash Kirk cousins. As usualThey're not cursed. They just weren't very good.
I don’t know if destroyed is the correct verb, seeing that they won by a single touchdownAhhh , the giants were a terrible team. Equally as flawed and they came into US bank and destroyed the trash Kirk cousins. As usual
I wouldn’t call the giants a terrible team.Ahhh , the giants were a terrible team. Equally as flawed and they came into US bank and destroyed the trash Kirk cousins. As usual
The Giants arent a terrible team. Theyre probably one of the best coached teams in the league with one of the of the best if not the best up and coming head coach. Do they have a lot of talent at the skill positions? no. But like i said they are extremely well coached and make up for their lack of skill in that area. One of the best teams in situational football as well.Brian Daboll will probably win COTY award.Ahhh , the giants were a terrible team. This roster is in big time trouble. The best teams / orgs on a continual basis in the NFL are generally the best at drafting. Seriously look at the vikings drafting the last 5 years, and it's horrifically bad. You could argue in the last 3 drafts they have one single player that's done anything - darrisaw. That is awful. And now, they have one first round pick this year, no seconds coming up; I think 5 total this year as it stands? no buenoThere are 4.5 guys on the roster that I'd be disappointed if they weren't back next season. Everybody else can f*** off:
Jefferson
O'Neil
Darrisaw
Hockenson
Cousins (the .5)
Maybe the kicker/punter can stay too.

oh sh** lol. WELL, my point still stands hahah.Jefferson was a 2020 pick.
Good thing we moved on from Slick Rick. This roster is in big time trouble. The best teams / orgs on a continual basis in the NFL are generally the best at drafting. Unfortunately I think the new GM tried too hard this year to make all these smart moves and backfired big time. 1st / 2nd round picks could amount to nothing. Should have stayed at the Vikings pick and took Hamilton, one of the best safeties in the NFL as a rookie. Traded back and even before his injury, the safety from Georgia wasn't even cracking the two deep. Knowingly took a CD with a laundry list of injury problems and lo and behold... injured all year. Learn the hard way I guessGood thing we moved on from Slick Rick.
The first and 2nd round picks ended up inured for 90%of the season, so it's too early for such a call. That has happened to a lot of great players over the years. Let them get healthy.Unfortunately I think the new GM tried too hard this year to make all these smart moves and backfired big time. 1st / 2nd round picks could amount to nothing. I guess i cant say this most recent draft year is a bust when Cine, Booth Jr and Evans were dealing with injuries all year, Nothing you can do about Cine fracturing his ankle on a kinda fluky play. BA33 was looking pretty good in his limited snaps and he was getting more as time went on, we could of used his speed yesterday.Unfortunately I think the new GM tried too hard this year to make all these smart moves and backfired big time. 1st / 2nd round picks could amount to nothing. I absolutely agree. The thing is booth was injured all throughout college as well which is why he fell into the second and cine wasn't even cracking the two deep and there was smoke he was having issues learning the scheme. To put things in perspective when get got hurt... 13 rookie safeties were playing huge minutes across the NFL...The first and 2nd round picks ended up inured for 90%of the season, so it's too early for such a call. All good points. For what it's worth engram does look like he will be a good player, but I didn't follow his development that much so maybe he struggled as the season went on. Time will tell... But Hamilton was such an obvious pick when he fell to us : /I guess i cant say this most recent draft year is a bust when Cine, Booth Jr and Evans were dealing with injuries all year, Nothing you can do about Cine fracturing his ankle on a kinda fluky play. Booth Jr and Evans were both in and out of the lineup all year with concussions or some ankle injury it seems like. Booth Jr being injury prone in college and it already happening in the pros is a bit concerning but you cant always predict that. Worked out well for the Titans when they took Jeffery Simmons outta Mississippi State who was injury prone in college now hes one of the best DL in the league, if not the best. With that said im sure theres plenty of examples of players like Booth Jr as well.
I mean we got a pro bowl punter outta this most recent draft Ed Ingram looks promising as well.
Id probably get ready for another trade back this year to gain some draft capital back from the Hock trade.
The Vikes had also moved to pick up Bynum prior to his drafting. Had Bynum not been here, Cine would've stepped right into a starting spot. Still got injured far too early in the season to judge anything.I absolutely agree. To be fair it's always easy to look back after the fact and say he should have done this, or drafted this player over that player so I'm probably unfairly judging the situationThe Vikes had also moved to pick up Bynum prior to his drafting. As for Booth, he's not the first injury prone player drafted in the NFL. It's not automatic that they remain injury prone post draft. Many in fact don't.
Can't help a blow to the head causing a concussion either. Would happen to anyone.
I agree with your overall frustration on the team drafting, but that was why Rick needed to go so badly. It's just far too early to judge Kwesi. To be fair it's always easy to look back after the fact and say he should have done this, or drafted this player over that player so I'm probably unfairly judging the situation
The value thing is all subjective really. Depends upon which model you are looking at, some models had us losing value on the trade, others had us gaining value on the trade. Bears gave up a FRP in a similar move up to get Fields, but this year there wasnt a QB like Fields on the board so there may not have been a lot of people bidding, driving up the price. KAM used to look and evaluate trade charts so i cant really question him on that, but im speaking for myself there. But i can easily see and understand why some people would get upset or question the value.Hindsight is one thing, but the trade down was also pretty well questioned at the time it was made, both with the players that were on still on the board, and the value that we received moving down that far.
