One of the scariest moments in a sporting event that I've ever seen. Praying that he will be ok.

I can only think of 2 players getting their throats slit by a skate, being scarier.

Personally, seeing my best friend break his neck skating is high up there. I heard sounds I hope never get heard again, by anyone.

Yep, those were scary as well....I'm also reminded of Sergei Zholtok who collapsed of a heart attack during a KHL game and died in the dressing room. I didn't witness these events live like I did last night, but all extremely scary and tragic events.

I'll be honest, I didn't realize that Pronger's heart stopped in thar incident!

Detroit Lions have 1 playoff win in my entire life. Jacksonville has more.

The Lions are a very old team that does have 4 championships from the pre-Super bowl years of the NFL. So there is that.

If we're just looking at the rough timeframe since the T-Wolves have been around then lots of NFL teams could be included. Most every team without a top-tier QB has floundered because the teams with the top-tier QBs eat them up.

All I know... I have been walking this earth for more than 45yrs now, and the Lions have only 1 playoff win in all of that time. Houston Texans have 4, Jacksonville has 7. Hell, even the new iteration of the Cleveland Browns have tied the Lions already in their short lifespan.

And yet somehow they have a better win percentage than the Timberwolves. Though I have to wonder if they took into consideration the age of the Lions.

The Lions play far less games, so I'd have been shocked if they hadn't had a better win %. 1 win is far more impactful on their % than 1 win for the T-Wolves is.

Doesn't that balance out after a while if they are a pretty old team.
