I give the wife crap about her Fins all the time. They've ben bad since Marino retired.
To be fair they've been in the division as the Patriots.

Also found it. Timberwolves have been to the playoffs only one more time than the Lions if you count since the Timberwolves have been in the leaguem. Timberwolves have played almost twice as many games as the Lions. And both of them have failed to reach a championship.

Doesn't that balance out after a while if they are a pretty old team.
Not really, as the T-Wolves play 82 games per year since 1989.
The T-wolves have far surpassed Detroit in total games played a long time ago.

T-Wolves all time win/loss: 1067-1602, .400 W-L%
Lions all time win/loss: 578-702-34 .453 W-L%

The T-Wolves have won 20 playoff games and 2 playoff series. Detroit has won... once in 1991 38-6 over the Cowboys, lost all the rest.

TB (NFL) was a joke of a team for a long time. Even with their 2 Super bowl wins they have a 299-441-1 (.404 win%) overall record.

The Marlins have won 2 WS, but only have 1 other post season appearance in their team history and an overall .460 win%. MLB is harder to make the Playoffs than then NBA, but they only have 7 total .500+ seasons in their 30 years. The Wolves have 10 in their 34 years.

No doubt! Pre-Dungy, TB was easily the worst in the NFL, but then Dungy turned them around, then they won a couple SB's. Those SB wins make up for a lot of their suffering.

What does Minnesota get for their years of suffering?

I think they are the only sport with the big four not to win a championship in 21st century

They're also top 5 in win% in the superbowl era without a title to show for it... the only team in the top 10 without a title.

VERY WELL run franchise overall... just can't get over that last hurdle.

13-22 playoff record in my lifetime, with 6 conference championship game appearances.

Edit: Sorry, thought you meant MN Vikings....

Sort of like the Buffalo Bills.

I don't think this year will be any different. Fun team to watch but just stumbles.

Bills are building back up again, but they were down so long, they dropped well outside the top 10 in the NFL in win%. They have an overall losing record right now. I'm guessing the Josh Allen era will get them over .500 again here in a couple years.

They're currenty 461-495-8 for .482, the Vikes are at .548

Breaking it down to just the SB era, the Vikes are #3 at .564, Bills are #22 at .469

It was either lose this week to DET or next week to SF. GB didn't deserve a Playoff berth this season. Too many drops, turnovers, and dumb penalties.
In the end, it was Rodgers. His accuracy has really fallen off… even on simple throws he is throwing them behind his receivers.

Vikings defense is abysmal. Ref missed a clear false start on the Giants as well on their second touchdown. Shootout incoming?
