Let's be honest Rodgers was the mvp, and the GB fan base loves him. Rightly so. I guess he might be headed for Denver though. He's a baller. Whoever gets him has a chance (if the supporting cast will play for him I guess)

indeed, just gonna say that the pick being pointless doesnt exactly make sense considering he did do well in college so until asked to do anything at the NFL level we cant say he is a bust.

Soooooo, like I said, if we read between his harsh review of Mond - a guy who obviously is talented because he did well in college and was drafted in the 3rd round - what does that leave? You think his skill from college just disappeared overnight after he got to MN? No, it is likely that he is a bum who doesn't want to work hard.

that is an extreme reach from zimmers comment... reading between those lines in no way shape or form screams he is a bum not willing to work hard. zimmer just had zero want to see him in the finale as he wanted to go out with a win instead of oh lets see what our future is as he knew he was likely fired.

Not even close to extreme. There have been hundreds of exampls of guys (both with natural ability and those with less ability) not working once they go pro.

not working once pro yes, extreme is you thinking he has shit work ethic just because of one zimmer comment about seeing him everyday which after he was pissed off after the game it got blown up. Mond could work extremely hard and we wouldnt know unless we are at practice.

to an extent yes, however zim does seem very old school and it wouldnt of made sense to have a mond vs cousins battle just because he looks good in practice.

Bottom line is it was a wasted pick. Not sure why the drafted him to take over the reigns from Cousins when I don't believe their styles are very similar. Should have drafted higher (maybe Mac Jones) to groom under Cousins for a year or two as they had to know Cousins' time here was coming to a close.

they were rumored to try and move up for fields. unknown if they tried for anyone else. either way until we hit on a qb we should be drafting one or two a year.

was just reading up on him likely getting the job. i dont mind hiring outside of the norm either where he wasnt a scout or player before hand. he has a good body of work and at the very least a very different set of eyes.
