Catherine Raiche's name is certainly interesting. Would she be the first woman to interview for an NFL GM position?

There was an actual woman GM in the early/mid 80's. Not sure if she interviewed though because I think she was the owners daughter.
She would be the first to interview and the first to get the position based on merit, but not the first ever in the position.

How are the Timberwolves still a team? Looking into the history, they have had TWO winning seasons in 17 seasons. They are beyond horrendous.

Deion Sanders says Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman haven’t spoken in months
“[Me and Zimmer talked]. We spoke the other day. He and the durn GM hadn’t spoken in months, and it was just a downward spiral,” Sanders said, during an appearance on Barstool Sports’ The Pro Football Show.
Even an outsider could tell it wasn’t all sugar and rainbows within the Vikings organization considering how badly the team has underachieved in recent seasons.
It was clearly time to move on from both of them. Pretty petty of both sides to not even speak with each other.

Was probably part of the "fallout" over the last month that changed the owner's minds on just moving Spielman to a different position while replacing him.
I’d assume so, no matter what the issue is it’s your job to communicate. He gave himself a bad look. Really wish we could know the full details of it all. The alleged power point presentation is very odd

Did the Packers offensive players give up on A-Rog last night? It looked like it to me. I can't imagine some of the stuff he's said publicly was very popular amongst his teammates. It almost looked like they sabotaged him last night.

The special teams lost GB the game. The offense and defense played fine. The SF defense played a very good game, and their offense almost lost them the game with all the drops. It was a good game overall and decided on the field. The refs didn't win/lose the game for either team. It stinks as a Packers fan that they lost, but they beat themselves.

GB (and TN) had been playing with fire all year by playing/winning tight games, both came up on the short end of the stick yesterday.

Honestly looked like his teammates quit on him and I can't help but wonder if they sabatoged him because of his views (which I know majority of nflers don't share). We will never know.

Nah. It would cost them money and a chance at the Super Bowl to sabotage the game.

The weather/field conditions in the 4th quarter made lots of things look sloppy for both teams. GB's passing game is all about timing, and that was thrown off. Not having Dillion especially at the end of the game hurt. He's their closer and it was the ideal conditions for him to be used.

Giving up on the run game was a play calling mistake that annoyed me.

I hope the Packers move on from Rodgers. Spent all last offseason pissing and moaning about how they didn't go for it on 4th down against the Bucs and then he puts up a measly 10 points in the next playoff game? Have fun in retirement or the west coast dude.

You sound like a man who has forgotten what Jordan Love plays like. You put up with a diva if they can still hit the high notes.

I agree with DB. A Rod's time in GB is up. I'm not too keen on Love, but I wouldn't mind getting Mayfield in a Rodgers trade. Wilson would be ideal, he was great at UW a few years ago.

This is what I am hoping for:

Would be hilarious is the Vikes pick up Rodgers like they did Favre. Saw that were moving on from Cousins.

Let's be honest Rodgers was the mvp, and the GB fan base loves him. Rightly so. I guess he might be headed for Denver though. He's a baller. Whoever gets him has a chance (if the supporting cast will play for him I guess)

This is what I am hoping for:
I keep a close eye on the Seahawks. Love Wilson, but he has declined. Not quite as quick, and the throws don't get there quite as fast as they used to. You would be buying (at a high price, he is probably paid near as much as Rodgers)into a declining asset. I think buying low on Mayfield, who was playing with no shoulder all year, would be a better play.

Shame about the special teams- I thought the Vikings owned that filed of incompetence. Think about it....we'd be hailing (or cursing at) Rodgers/GB right now if they could just have executed a simple punt.
