He's the GM of the Broncos
My bad....I thought he was their Asst GM.

Yes, and it doesn't have to be the full difference. A bridge QB will likely be cheaper... MUCH cheaper. And you need to use some/a lot of that $35M in space to replace your starting QB.

Andy Dalton level would be fine with me as long as we are actually properly grooming our next franchise QB rather than rushing Fields.Depends on how good you want that bridge QB to be.

Only if you expect to win next year or the year after. We just need a guy with a better outlook than someone who's been our embarrassing level of a backup QB the past couple seasons in Manion.Gross.

Someone who can actually do something resembling playing QB for a short while while this ship gets shored up.
I don't expect that bridge QB to still be going at that point.Or the year after... or the year after...

Don't think of someone like that to be here more than 2-3 years at most.
Hell, Teddy might be an affordable bridge option too.
Dalton for 1 year is all id want. i dont think its as hard to get a rebuild/retool working in the NFL as it is the NHL considering how many players play in the NFL the year they are drafted. QB is always going to be difficult to solidify but we should be establishing our dline and oline ASAP to help everyoneGross.
You may not be drafting the future QB this draft though, but next. Depending on the QB drafted, should at least expect 1 year of observation and learning before getting the starting job.Dalton for 1 year is all id want. i dont think its as hard to get a rebuild/retool working in the NFL as it is the NHL considering how many players play in the NFL the year they are drafted. NFL network appears to have a very liberal idea of "soon".Mark Wilf will be on NFL network soon...
No. We're not a quick QB change away from a Super bowl.just trade him for futures, watson, or wilson. if you trade him for futures sign rodgers in the offseason

Terrible offensive line, terrible secondary, only 1 linebacker worth keeping... already $11mil over the cap with Cousins, what do you think that looks like with Rodgers?
That means drastic changes in linebackers... we barely have depth enough to field 3, let alone trying to find a 4th. You underestimate how much work this team needs... especially on defense.im not sure our offensive line is as bad as it looks. I honestly think its more scheme related than anything. And rodgers has shown he can win with a bad team around him before. This team would also look drastically different with a GM that doesnt trade down and a potential extra few picks next draft. Id really like to see this defense move to a 3-4 system.

Rodgers with Thielen, Jefferson and Cook wouldn't need an offensive line. Better stop there before @Digitalbooya comes in and starts Fbombing the thread out of existence.
Do we want to build a winner long term or make a flash in the pan run with an extremely flawed roster that will still likely fail to win the trophy?Rodgers with Thielen, Jefferson and Cook wouldn't need an offensive line. 1: probably not, he seems like very unbradylike.Need to know 2 things before thinking about tossing Cousins out the door:
1. Is he willing to re-structure?
2. Is Rodgers still in Green Bay after this season?
We may never get that franchise QB. I am under the group of thinking that a QB should be drafted yearly until we actually have 1 young qb worth building around. Mond might be it, but instead of letting a meaningless game decide that we played cousins. You may not be drafting the future QB this draft though, but next.
