Vikes up 29-0, and barely hang onto win 36-28. Breland, Dantzler, and Boyd are so bad.

Boyd's unsportsmanlike conduct penalty changed the entire game. All he had to do was keep his cool, not taunt and that TD drive was dead in the water... they never pick up the momentum. Moron had to taunt.

Yup

Sounds overly expensive.

Just use a big slingshot. If he makes it to the sun cool, if he doesn't then it'll be a big splat somewhere.

Why were we running 33 into the line for two yards over and over at the end of the game ? Don't they understand that they need him, and his shoulder, healthy in 6 days time?

Baffling decisions by this team. Zimmer has lost it.

Was just wondering when was the last time that Spielman a truly good offensive Lineman?

Vikings clean house - Zimmer and Spielman fired. This stat is incredible.

Sources: Vikings fire coach Zimmer, GM Spielman
Zimmer's firing comes as Minnesota's defense reached historic depths this season, contributing to the team's 8-9 record. After setting a record for the most points allowed in the final two minutes of a half in the last 20 seasons with 107 in 2020, the Vikings reached a new low this year with 128 points allowed in the final two minutes of a half, according to ESPN Stats and Information.

hopefully we get the speculated trade offers that iv read, 1st round pick + + +. take that and run, hope Mond isnt tragic and still draft another QB just in case.
The Brown's may be parting with Mayfield. Hell, I'd give him a chance for the right price.

he would just be another cousins but a little more fearless. i am more intrigued by them hiring a more offensively inclined HC that has a more gunslinger mentality rather than always play it safe. i like a strong defense and smart offense but not on the first drive of the game every game. playing it safe is when you have the lead and fear losing not when its 0-0 2 mins into the game.

lmao hope isn't gonna save you. Embrace the rebuild, sell everything, and hope we can actually draft a franchise QB for once.

Sounds good on paper until we find out that the year of our tank is also a year where there are no franchise QBs available to draft.

Who do we replace him with? There isn't exactly a plethora of starting QBs available to choose from.
We're not in position for a quick turnaround with our Cap position. Suck it up. Go full rebuild. We can't afford Cousin's $45+m contract next season.

Yes, not easy to find a starting QB... that's why you draft more than 3 QBs in 10 years.

This is a multi-year fix, not a year to tank and done.

oh i am ready for a rebuild just as i was ready for the wild to rebuild. said it earlier in the year to some friends i would trade smith hunter barr cook cousins and maybe a few other big names just to jump start the rebuild. would next year or two hurt? probably but with the amount of draft capital coming back and the NFL having pretty solid 1st year players filling holes i wouldnt have an issue with it at all.
