I don’t play hockey and I know that makes my opinion next to worthless when it comes to this stuff, but you’re never going to convince me it’s not worth it in that situation to just go to the bench and get a new stick and/or change. It would take 5 seconds and Staal was just as useless without a stick as he would’ve been during those 5 seconds he would’ve been out of the play.
