Speaking of Tripp, he was reaching out to Dua Lipa yesterday because she wore a red and black dress to some award thing. I thought it was weird (and it is) but apparently he's friends with her father.

Crazy world we live in. I'm expecting Tripp and Bruce Willis to become BFFs any second now. After that I expect Samuel L Jackson to become a huge Caniac.

We poke fun at Tripp and how he always "knows a guy" or always "gets a text from so and so", but it's really impressive the connections he's made. He's the color commentator of a non-traditional hockey market, and he's more connected (both in and out of the hockey world) than probably 95% of the population.

The "Dig In" podcast really opened my eyes in that regard. I figured it would just be him getting on and talking with current and former Canes, but he landed some major players, both current and historically.
