Quick thoughts...

81-55-26 Really slow start and some very sloppy play in their own zone, especially by Connor. Out of sync on the PP until a marvelous last PP. Then they showed their class. Connor is having a remarkable offensive season so far. Still, I didn't think they deserved the EN goal.

9-25-27 Outstanding game by Stastny. He's such a smart and effective player that facilitates well. It's nice to start the PP with the puck, thanks to his FO ability. Copp continued his really strong play. Maurice should have given him a chance for the hat trick with the EN. Ehlers had some poor plays that got the Jets in trouble, but he also made some brilliant offensive plays. He's dynamic.

85-17-22 I actually liked KVes on this line to begin, but Perreault was strong. Didn't like Appleton as much as usual. He made some bad decisions with the puck. Lowry was solid.

93-12-23 Didn't play enough, but were fine. I liked KVes. Too bad Maurice demoted him after one weak dump in, especially when the rest of the team was as bad or worse in the early stages.

44-2 Really shaky game by this pair. Morrissey continued to struggle at times. Doesn't look physically strong or fast. DeMelo was shaky, maybe because of his first game.

24-4 Okay game, but not as strong a game from Forbort.

64-88 Stanley was meh. He had problems handling Tkachuk. I think he should come out for the Oilers. Beaulieu fought, so I guess that's something.

Hellebuyck with a weak game all around.

The Jets will need to be sharper against better teams.
Great recap as usual, but I struggle with the concept of not deserving a EN goal. People act like it is some sort of reward, when in reality it is preserving a game which is a good thing. In most situations your best offensive players are your best option with an empty net because they are most likely to first gain, then keep possession and then move the puck into a position to score the EN goal.

If this was the end of the season ppl would have to eat crow round here. Ppl thought stas was only brought in to appease laine and was over the hill. So far he has earned his money.
Ppl thought we should bring in a big ufa or trade for a d for 2nd pair but forbert has been adequate.
Obviously not end of season and post may be premature.

Who are the strong teams in division? Edmonton is struggling, mtl looks good. Vancouver is struggling. Toronto good. Ottawa and us.

I think its still a bit too early to say definitively, and we dont have PLD yet

I think we will def be one of the top 3 in the division now with PLD - at least, that is my expectation.

His biggest asset for us is he will drive possession which is when we are at our best

Who are other 2 right now? Mtl and Toronto?
Also would be interested to see where this team without pld stands. Our big weakness is our D. I’d rather see how Heinola does in forbert’s position than pld does in stastny’s.

When is poolman back? Will Heinola be sent down soon to preserve his elf and so he can play?

I would say so. I think MTL and TOR are the other 2. I think with PLD we will also be better defensively as well

He is going to elevate the team

At some point I would like to see stats play with perfetti. Maybe stats perfetti and copp on the third line.

When he breaks into the lineup, you might see a lot of movement in the lines.
I can see him anywhere from playing LW on the second to playing 4th line center / wing - I have no idea where he is going to end up.
I can also see Copp ending up back with Lowry - and I don't see them moving to 4th line minutes -
So, I don't know - everything changes with the addition of our new center. So many options
