Jets started rough in the 1st period, got better in the 2nd and were dynamite in the 3rd.
Scheifele line was fantastic and worth full value. Wheeler looked great and was brilliant on the PP. Those who have been calling Wheeler 'washed up' should look in the mirror.
Fantastic game from the Statsny line. Ehlers was flying, good to see Copp convert some.
Lowry line struggled mightly in the first two periods until Perreault was moved up there. When Dubois is in the lineup, Copp can come down here and make this line great again. Perreault's best game of the season, he moved up in the lineup and helped out a line that was drowning big time.
Morrisey and DeMelo had a rough first but got better as the game went on.
Really enjoying Stanley's game. Keeps things simple, just keeps his head down does his job and doesn't try to get too fancy. Nice hit by him tonight on Haley, I like that he doesn't go out there chasing hits. Let's see how he does against tougher competition, I think the Oilers game is going to be challenging for him.
Not Helle's best game but he made big saves in first 10 minutes of the game when it was odd man rush city and kept the Jets in the game.

I was thinking this as well. I've said it a few times but I think Connor will be the first 50 goal scorer of Jets 2.0.

The difference is PP1 plays most of the pp minutes. Pp2 scores quickly. Lol.

How many more minutes did stas have then ehlers. They played the first pp unit a lot. Not much to say.

He fits in between Copp and Ehlers making the bottom 6 better with Stastny and Lowry centering.

I think he will be exactly what we need. We are at our best when we push possession and he does that well.
Yep don’t want to break stas ehlers copp up but it was gonna happen anyway even if laine stayed. It makes team gritter and more defensively friendly.
Another great game by Copp. I hope he stays in the top 6 when Dubois joins the team. Stastny can play in the bottom 6.

Sluggish start for the team and it was clear some players had some issues focusing with what happened today. Still we started to take over the game as it went on and this team has a boat load of skill.
DeMelo/Morrissey got off to a real rough start with DeMelo causing a number of issues with miss timed pinches. Morrissey had that one real adventurous shift in terms of puck moving but they settled in the second and played well the rest of the night. Good back two periods to build off of heading into tomorrow.
Forbert and Pionk were a bit off tonight but still solid.
Bottom pairing had another solid game. Stanley played another solid game. I am pretty happy with his play so far. He's making the most of his opportunity.
SCW - A very good game by this trio again. At times I think they could tend not to be as fancy but they still create a lot.
CSE - Best game for this trio, Ehelers was flying, Stastny was good all around and copp worked hard and was full marks for his goals.
Lowry- Appelton - Ves - this line struggled to get anything going and worked better with Perrault. Ves showed some good hustle but made some dumb plays that put the team in awkward spots. I will cut the kid some slack as he hasn't played since the beginning of December. Appelton wasn't making great decisions with the puck today.
Fourth line was decent for the minutes they played.
Hellehad an off night.
