Strange game for me.

The Jets started slow again.

Really took over in the 3rd, but, Ottawa did a good job hanging around.

Jets take a 2 goal lead and then give up one immediately after only for it to be taken away on an offside.

Strange way to win, but, a win nonetheless.

Another great game by Copp. I hope he stays in the top 6 when Dubois joins the team. Stastny can play in the bottom 6.

I really like Ehlers and Copp together. I think if you put PLD between them that line becomes a force.

Nah, the boys looked at it the same way I do: it's JUST Ottawa. No disrespect meant to the Sens with that, they're very young and will grow into things. But they aren't anywhere but the front end of their rebuild; some nice pieces too. The Jets shouldn't be doing that and thankfully won't be doing it with anyone else I hope (maybe Vancouver once they get a streak going there).

And yeah, I'm still missing Laine.

Copp looked really good as did Perreault.
It was nice to see Perreault and Wheeler rediscover their speed.
One really good period was enough tonight.

The difference is PP1 plays most of the pp minutes. Pp2 scores quickly. Lol.

Seriously tho.. KC is a beast also

KC is awesome but the difference shouldn't be that much.

How many more minutes did stas have then ehlers. They played the first pp unit a lot. Not much to say.

Would love to see Copp-PLD-Ehlers but can't see a world where Copp doesn't reunite with Lowry and take big defensive matchups. I just don't see Paul dropping Lowry to the 4th.

Wheeler looked great and was brilliant on the PP. Those who have been calling Wheeler 'washed up' should look in the mirror.

Seems silly to bring in pld when we have 2nd line stas and copp playing well. Our big glaring hole is our D. Forbert got roasted one play.

Quick thoughts...

81-55-26 Really slow start and some very sloppy play in their own zone, especially by Connor. Out of sync on the PP until a marvelous last PP. Then they showed their class. Connor is having a remarkable offensive season so far. Still, I didn't think they deserved the EN goal.

9-25-27 Outstanding game by Stastny. He's such a smart and effective player that facilitates well. It's nice to start the PP with the puck, thanks to his FO ability. Copp continued his really strong play. Maurice should have given him a chance for the hat trick with the EN. Ehlers had some poor plays that got the Jets in trouble, but he also made some brilliant offensive plays. He's dynamic.

85-17-22 I actually liked KVes on this line to begin, but Perreault was strong. Didn't like Appleton as much as usual. He made some bad decisions with the puck. Lowry was solid.

93-12-23 Didn't play enough, but were fine. I liked KVes. Too bad Maurice demoted him after one weak dump in, especially when the rest of the team was as bad or worse in the early stages.

44-2 Really shaky game by this pair. Morrissey continued to struggle at times. Doesn't look physically strong or fast. DeMelo was shaky, maybe because of his first game.

24-4 Okay game, but not as strong a game from Forbort.

64-88 Stanley was meh. He had problems handling Tkachuk. I think he should come out for the Oilers. Beaulieu fought, so I guess that's something.

Hellebuyck with a weak game all around.

The Jets will need to be sharper against better teams.
