TB's last game against Philly was an absolute trainwreck. Not sure if that motivates Kucherov or if the entire team checks out.

Just don't think Mcdavid can catch Kuch. 9 points is a lot to make up
He has 4 games in hand. He can make up that difference in those games alone easily.

It's a hell of a race, Kucherov, MacKinnon, McDavid are all having years that would more often than not be running away with the scoring title.

13 players are on pace for 100+ points.

Wild.

Good thing he has 4 games in his back pocket.

That’s now 78 points in his past 39 games (2.00 PPG).

If he matches that pace in his final 25 games, he’ll score 144 points on the season in 80 games, which very likely nets him his 6th Art Ross.

If he scores that amount, McDavid will enter the top 100 in all-time points with 994. 130 next season would propel him all the way up to 65th.

He’ll already be inside the top 50 by the end of the 2025-2026 season and he’ll still be just 29 years old.

That he'll keep up a 2.0 PPG pace and that he'll crack the top 100 this year.

Wouldn't be the least big surprised if he wins the Art Ross though.

Oh ok, fair.

He needs 48 points in 25 games to tie for 100th, so it's on the table. McDavid has a habit of doing things most of us think are improbable.
