Has he ever achieved 140 points in any of his previous 9 years or come close to it? Nope. Has he reached even 130 points? Nope. Was he on track for such a feat in one of his injury-shortened seasons? No. All this evidence of him being capable of scoring 140 points or more in a full season is oh so compelling indeed.

No doubt 23-25 year old crosby scores 150 in this era. He had 66 in 40 in 2011 in a far lower scoring league. I mean these guys have the same stats which tells you everything you need to know

I know you're just trying to flip the McDavid narrative to Kucherov. There's only one problem with that, Tampa and Kucherov have played the 2 way game and have won multiple cups doing so. I wouldn't be talking trash until McDavid shows he can do the same.
