Seems weird in general for him to pro-rate MacKinnon into the #2 spot last year when Drai's ppg was higher.

The way it works with the what if game is that only the player needing to be elevated in the argument gets to play all the games they missed, not anyone else ahead of them.

Lol show me where I said Mac would been second in scoring? He may have been but I never specifically said that. What's weird is you making stuff up in your head and then trying to claim that's what I said.

Going by the basic games played count Drai was on pace for 131, Mac 128. But that ignores the fact that MacKinnon missed nearly an entire additional game. He essentially put up 111 in 70 games last season which prorates him to 130 points. If you need help with the math that would place them 22 and 23 I.e. McDavid's lead would have been "about 20", which I'm pretty sure is all that I said.

*Also when it comes to scoring races people like to compare what a player did relative to the nearest non-teammate for the obvious reasons. Don't act like you yourself haven't played up how McDavid was 40 points ahead of Kuch last season, which is why I didn't bother specifically mentioning Drai.

No he isn’t, but if it makes you feel better about all the failures and lack of accomplishment in your life you go on believing it.
Yes he is. No need to be emotional and aggressive about it. If believing in cheated championship is an accomplishment in life, well maybe you had your first one. All the best.

Yours truly,

Hoochie

Let's see. 11 point lead.....
Connor could theoretically erase that 11 point lead in 2 games. although i believe it ambitious. He is know for getting 8-11 points in as little as 4 games, and oddly enough Connor has 4 games in hand. Koch’s grasp on first isnt iron clad.

And that’s not to mention MacK

Haha I’m not remotely “emotional and aggressive” - just pointing out how sad and pathetic you sound.

That I can agree with. While MacKinnon has basically proven himself to be a 130 pt level player at his peak, remains to be seen if he can do it within one season ofc, his injury prone nature is the problem. But McDavid is still the only player capable of 140+ pts, doesn't necessarily mean he gets there every year though.
I disagree and I think you misunderstand the definition of "capable."

Capable - "having the ability, fitness, or quality necessary to do or achieve a specified thing" What am I mistaken about and which other player has proven themselves capable of scoring 140+ points in a season?
