50-100 players are put on waivers every year.

Everyone gets that you are upset with the direction Dubas is steering the Leafs, but this is nothing to gripe about

There are some people who are just looking for reasons to get upset.
They will complain about NAK and how he has played and then complain about him getting waived.

I think they simply overrated his value as a 4th liner on the cup winners. Simple as that. Saw him up close and changed their mind. It happens. Plus he might not be claimed either.

The paltry 2 shots on goal over five or six games probably had something to do with them not being happy.

They signed him because Simmonds wheels are falling off and they needed a guy who could be physical in the bottom six and pot a few goals. He has enough of a track record that he should have been given a longer look. I have a feeling he wasn't well liked in the dressing room.

He's probably not a Fortnite or Bieber fan.

Feels very similar to moves Dubas has made in the past - sign guys that the organization likes, and if it doesn't work out, try and find those guys new homes in a very amicable way.

I've never experienced anything like this in watching the NHL for 60 years.

I’d like to see the Caps pick up NAK. We lost two players to waivers to start season. Need a body right now and maybe he fits here better. but I’d look at it same way as Dubas. If it works great, if not… meh.

It’s a low risk signing
It works out great u got a good cheap player
It doesn’t u bury him

Effin Eh Boys ! I just booked a suite on the parade route , absolute genius move by an absolute genius GM , clearly a shake up in the bottom 6 is what this team was lacking , we don't need Defence or Goaltending or star players playing like star players phifft that's for loser teams we need to replace a 9 through 12 league minimum forward and the path to nirvana is open wide . FFS what a joke this team and many of it's fans are .
