I'd like to see some of our youth get the chance to fill his spot. Unfortunately it will probably be Simmonds and Clifford, neither of which are NHL players are this point in their careers.

A depth player that didn't work out -- oh lordy lord the HORROR.

1 year 1M fully buriable.
It's the usual propping up of players then the oh geez we waived a nobody

With actual depth. Incompetence.

Brings in an actual depth player, from an actual Stanley Cup winning team, who actually played in the Stanley Cup....... You know... good enough depth for his team to win the Cup....

Amazing isn't it? Colorado, an incompetent team, somehow won the cup with such a depth player.

It didn't work here... next... we have plenty of depth... some who haven't had a chance to tryout yet... it's a long season... relax son, and try to find some happiness in this world.

You guys crack me up.
Another you're miserable if you criticize this team post. Plenty of depth my arse

The problem is Dubas has one line. Sometimes two. And yes go back and see what a warrior NAK was to some

This isn't about the team. This is about NAK.

The majority of people understand that he was a depth level player. He's a grinder that hits a lot but sucked in every other aspect. Leafs expected a slightly better player. You're making it like he was slated to be a top end player or whatever. Get a grip. Teams waive these players all the time.

Expected this, made sense to grab a grinder from a cup winner, he didn't translate his game here, so good luck in Wash, we lose nothing and gain a contract spot. Hopefully this can be the precursor to an upcoming move.
