If he sticks its not out of the question , Bunting did it last year and with that shot I don't think that would be over hyping him. 71 games playing with those guys makes it a real possibility. Had I said 21 goals....well maybe that would've been asking for the .oon and Stars.

Cmon Gary you know that isn't my deal, get after the peeps who do nothing but spew negativity and continually say dumb shit like "can't play hockey, player doesn't have a clue!" Cheers
:thumbu::thumbu:

All good my good man. I'm gonna go get some sleep now, looking forward to waking up with a smile on my face in the morning. A well played game and win will do that to me every time.

Cheers!

Was At the game today , a couple of takeaways

Reilly makes far too many poor decisions in o-zone, needs off PP1 immediately

Matthews Marner need to be split, Marner was awful today

Tavares looked like he was handling a grenade

Engvall needs to go asap

Mete looked like a formidable #6

Robertson was great

I give Robertson a lot credit for biting his tongue about not making the team out of camp. You can tell post game he’s going to remember it.

I was also at the game. The crowd was dead.

Leafs needed that. Good win. Robertson was the best player on the ice without scoring two goals. Mathews looks hurt. I was at the game and watched him closely. I know he got banged up during the game but I am pretty sure his back is bothering him.

what about

Bunting-Tavares-Marner
Robertson-Kerfoot-Nylander
Malgin-Matthews-Jarnkrok

obviously no order of 1-2-3 just 3 lines that can all score

They shouldn't be splitting up the 2nd line at all, and I doubt Matthews ever gets separated from Marner.

You're aware Robertson scored both goals not playing with Tavares right?

That line was awful.

Robertson was amazing.

I was reacting to that dude's posted lines. It was as much a commentary on the poor play of the supposed top line as anything else. Zzzzzzz.

Lol - why do people do this, brag about being at the game under the guise of giving some special insight but instead comment on the things we can all see?

If you want to give us those brilliant takeaways, maybe comment on how hard guys worked away from the puck or other things that are generally not visible to us commoners who don't spend a fortune to eat sushi and not cheer at the Scotiabank graveyard?

Robertson is one of the few Leafs that I can cheer for. Here's hoping his enthusiasm will rub off on the rest of the slugs. The top 2 lines were awful again to night and both Marner and Matthews stunk out the joint, except for the pass by AM to set up the win. Marner looked the worst.

The 2nd line was brutal... Robertson scored both goals away from J.T. Do you even watch the games?

Clearly more than most on this board do.

You are using circumstantial evidence... He scored one in OT and the other at the end of a PP.

The 2nd line was by far our best today... With Tavares on it. Has been the case for most of this year, with or without Robertson on the line.

If you thought the 2nd line was brutal, you didn't watch the game or have a very odd definition of what "brutal" means. The 4th line was brutal. The top line was brutal. The 3rd line was brutal at times. The 2nd line was far from brutal.
