Nick currently top 15 in points in the NHL. When was the last time we had a player there except 1-2 games into a season?

I don't know.. Suzuki is a gem. Pure hockey fundamentals and panache to booth.

Watch the f*** out when we assemble a real team around him.

Man.. a real #1 C on the Habs!!!! The last one was Damphouse! Just ponder that though ! I am so hyped

Suzuki is pacing for 103 pts at the moment. Even if he slows at some point PPG is becoming more and more likely.
To be honest I just wish he stays healthy and play all the games or close to it.

66pts, 76pts or 86pts, at the end of the day we know what he is capable of when we will have a better team. I just want him to stay healthy for his prime years and when we will have a window for a championship.

Health is the thing you least need to worry about Suzuki lol
He hasn't missed a single nhl regular season game and he stayed healthy his whole ohl career.

For an entire, Mats Naslund. Damphousse, one year, was pretty good. Koivu, before the knee injury.

Whatever happens from now on, even if he's done progressing, I think it's fair to say that Nick is star in this league. His game without the puck took a HUGE step forward this season.

There aren't a lot of guys in the league I would trade this guy for right now, contracts and age taken into account.

I think that cup final run was absolutely critical for the development of Suzuki and Caufield.
very possibly. But it definitely showed many of us (me for sure anyways) that these guys were going to be a force to be reckoned with. Both showed up in big games in big ways.

I really wondered whether I'd trade those 2 for Matthews and Marner. While nostrils and delay of game just choke endlessly, our kids came up big time after time during that run. Nick especially had ice in his veins that playoff.

There's no way it could've hurt but I just think that they're true blue studs regardless and they got an opportunity to show us what was to come during that run.
