I think that cup final run was absolutely critical for the development of Suzuki and Caufield.
Agreed it played a big part in helping them achieve that next level of play we are seeing. And I don't think it's a coincidence that Subban also had a magical playoff run to start his career. Even Price took his game to the next level after that 2010 run where he was the backup. Those deep playoff runs can really help young guys, especially when there's already some cup winners in the room showing how it's done.

That overpaid article was clickbait garbage no point bringing that up every time Suzuki scores. There are 2 threads on the main boards filled with Habs fans taking victory laps after 14 gp. We are better than this. Chill out and enjoy ~
Well he's been playing like he has for a lot longer than just 14 games.

The questioning of his contract extension was always bizarre to be honest, if there's a single player on the Habs who was worth every penny of that "risk", it was him.

Nah. Let it be.

The main board are a cesspool of Habs hate. Its time we step up to the plate.

Also were almost pushing 60 games of PPG now.

I've wondered if Suzuki could get to 30 goals one day...
I'm pleased to acknowledge he might hit 40 THIS year even... just wow
What a player, maybe the best Hab I've ever seen in my life

It wasn't even clickbait, people just zeroed in on that part of the article without even bothering to read that part of the article.

Prime Galchenyuk! Forgot about him!
I lol'ed at seing Wayne Simmons there!
What filter do you use to see only the first 10 or 20 games of a season for example?
you have to filter by date. I remembered Galchenyuk was top 5 before his injury that year so I tried a few dates until I found it!

How awesome it his that the best Habs player is not a freakin goalie for once
It's great. Don't get me wrong, it was an absolute joy to watch Price's career and in his prime he was among the very best players in the league. But we haven't had a real scoring team since the 90s. It's great to be able to watch a young team (even if we aren't that good) and know that we'll score some goals.

I continue to believe that CC will emerge as a true superstar. He may even get to 50 this year. And right now, he's not even the best player on our club.

He reminds me of alot of Andrei Kostitsyn play style in a sense, raw talent yet very gifted with it, such a gem

On pace for 105 pts after 15... wow.

We havent seen that since Koivu I think?

Edit: I checked and Saku had 20 points in 15, 109 pts pace.

Recchi also had 19 in 15

I'd be content if Suzuki gets anywhere above 75 points.
I'd be very happy if Suzuki gets anywhere above 82 points.
I'd be surprised if Suzuki gets above 90 points.
I'd be bragging if he gets above 100 points.
I'd be a brat if he gets above 109 points.
