Suzuki looks like a completely different player this year. He creates something out of nothing and that's what is different. A real cerebral player who creates offense with creativity.
He is so good at buying himself time and waiting for support. Amazing passerand he also has a shot that can pot 30+ goals

He looks the same to me. The only differences are that he's been consistent game to game and he has a winger that is capable of completing his passes at a high rate.

He is a Stud.. his C on his jersey will only push him to new horizons I knrw he was good.. i knew he had more to offer but he is showing me better success faster than I would have tought.. same goes for Caufield BTW they both push each other to the next level. Its a joy to watch.
True. I had Suzuki pegged at 70-80 pts this year and Caufield at 35-40 goals but they've both exceeded my expectations. I'm happy Dach is playing with them. I believe he will be a top 6 C when everything is said and done so it's beneficial to build chemistry amongst future core mates instead of floating with Drouin, etc

The thing with Dach tough.. and its a bit weird... but most of his career goals are... lucky? Not polished? Grinder goals? You could watch his careers goals and its not satisfying lol let hope he can learn how to score with more "ease". Lol

True but that's why he's good for that line. He doesn't have to be good at scoring goals. He has an elite goal scorer and someone I believe will be a perennial 30 goal scorer. Someone needs to get the ugly goals and rebounds on the line. His strength lies in playmaking and stickwork anyways so his lack of goal scoring ability is fine with me as long as he can complement them well

If only we could get another high end talent to be the focal point of our 2nd line:

Caufield Suzuki Dach
Mishkov Beck/Messr Slaf

Yup, Suzuki good player. Bergevin must been genius to get him. That must been best trade in Habs history? I think Tatar was in same trade? Romanov also.

We should have a poll for best traded in Habs history.

It's a long subject of debate, some of us think Bergevin wanted Cody Glass instead.

Romo (2nd round pick) was acquired with Phil Danualt for Weise and Flesch. Another really good trade.

I had a lot of issue with MB, glad he’s gone but with respect to NS trade he deserves credit for that. Whether he wanted Glass or not, he ended up getting NS, a legit 1c, man deserves his dues for that trade.

Best trade in history? No doubt it’s the Ken Dryden trade.

Not only did he win us cups, he was personally responsible for defeating the team that traded him away - Boston Bruins.

Imagine if he’d been with Boston in the 70s instead of us…
