Well, if Makar says they all support him whatever he's got.. I assume that's more of a addiction than worse stuff like rape and so on(no support for him in that case). I would read it as a positive(in this situation). It's something Nuke is dealing with. Addiction, sex addiction, drugs, alcohol or mental issues who knows.

So he is dealing with personal devil. Not that dealing with addiction/mental issues is easy. :(

Here we go.....

I really hope our management didnt get rid of the one person who did the right thing....It would be a very bad look.

On the other hand: If the physician decided to leave on his own something "not so good" must have happened in that hotel room.....Something that made him quit his job.....

I really hope the medoa rips into this.

Or the experience wasn't what he signed up for and he wants to focus on practicing medicine instead. This could be where the Avs media cone of silence hurts them. Hard to tell.

I mean, that really wasn't what he signed up to do. I'd be pretty pissed about being put in that situation if I was him. I can totally see how he might have been the one to say, no mas.

It would be insane if the Avs actually fired this guy because of this.

I'm starting to think it might have just been Nuke hiring a Russian escort who lost her shit and that's all it was. Using the PR spin of "family reasons" instead of being forced to say you hired a sex worker and your wife/family found out and had to go home. Makes sense for the Avs to bury it but the NHL/police? So much smoke around the situation they'd be crazy people nowadays to try and bury that after it already leaked out.

Maybe the physician just wants to do his job without a media fanfare and so went back to working with regular joes rather than high profile athletes. I think there's a lot of jumping to conclusions going on based on zero information. Maybe he wants to be home with his family rather than travelling on the road. There could be any number of completely rational reasons that don't point to the org doing him dirty.

But what's the fun of this perspective? Isn't rabid, groundless speculation more entertaining?

You're missing an important piece: He didn't show up to morning skate that day, which was several hours before all the drama.

Aren't we supposed to remember they are athletes with private lives? It's pretty ridiculous some put these guys on a pedestal, especially when it comes to relations with women. The stuff that goes on gets swept under the rug because of these kinds of takes on things that are really none of our business.

Why even address the media if there is nothing to say? This whole thing is f***ed up. I can’t believe this is where we are. I almost wish they didn’t say anything at all.

He's required to speak to the media or he gets fined.
