It seams we have a good coach on board as the team has been playing well and in most games are competitive. Now can we please invest in a quality and experienced GM (not an inexpensive GM) to run the ship. It is something we have been missing for 5 years now. I think that would help attract next years best players through the draft and help us build out of this mess.
Niagara has seemed harder working and more physical. I think Podolioukh, Lavoie, O’Flaherty will help make Niagara a bit harder to play against than some of the bodies moved out

Icedogs now winless in four games to start January after dropping a 5 to 1 decision tonight to Owen sound. Burroughs two goals amd an assist paced Owen Sound tonight. Copeland the loan goal tonight for the Dogs. Shots 42 to 24 for Owen Sound 3,284 fans in attendance tonight. Next game Friday night in Mississauga.
Just let the chaos stop. This team is worse than an expansion team. Getting 25 straight 1st overall picks doesn’t matter if none of them want to play here. The gong show of the last year and a half is STILL GOING ON. It hasn’t stopped. This team’s reputation is an absolute steaming pile of crap. That’s the first problem that needs to be solved. The agents and the parents are the first ones that have to be convinced. I still can’t believe that Darren DeDobbalaer wasn’t joking when he even hinted at the IceDogs applying to host the Memorial Cup. I honestly question DdeD’s mental health.
Tough overtime loss tonight in Mississauga 3 to 2 despite coming back from a two goal deficit in period three on goals by A Leblanc and and Waddick late powe play goal Shots 40 to 25 for Mississauga but some how Flores was not named a star in the arena. 1,611 fans watched in Mississauga.

Another good effort. This team is playing better with our new coach. I believe if the Icedogs play well, regardless of record, from here on out that could help players, parents and agents believe that the worst is over. That being said, naming a new GM with OHL experience would still need to be done.

I don't get it. Mississauga is a good team and yet have crap attendance.
Mississauga took Jack Hughes first round 2017 after having a defective player the year prior, always wondered how that happened.
Tough schedule...4 games in 4.5 days...Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday nights followed by 2 pm game on Sunday. One game in one day is hard enough for the Dogs...lol. Although, I do appreciate the effort they are playing with recently.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there a rule where they couldn't play more than 3 games per week?

I'm not so sure this rule exists. I think they can't play 4 games in 4 nights but if there is a day off in there somewhere they are good to go. It quite often is an issue with the top prospect game. Returning players have to choose a game to miss if there is 4 in a row. But maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong?
Tonights game is a make up game for the game cancelled due to Knight players death. Two players on the Icedogs were previously on the Knights
